About The Product

Royal T is a testosterone booster supplement made by Royal Sport Ltd. It’s one of the most expensive test boosters on the market at a price of $107.99 (for 60 servings).

It comes in quite fancy packaging, but we’ll see whether the serving size is optimal below.

How To Take

It’s advised that you consume 2 capsules daily on the bottle. This isn’t a great serving size; we prefer serving sizes of 3-4 capsules per day, as this keeps your body fuelled with ingredients needed to raise testosterone throughout the day.

If you only consume 2 capsules, your body will only be benefited by ingredients for half of your day – meaning you won’t get the best results or the most for your cash.

Anyway, we’ll tell you about the company behind Royal T test booster before analyzing its nutrient profile in the next section.

Who are Royal Sport Ltd?

We tried to look on Royal Sport’s website for some information about them. But we didn’t learn anything, as it was the worst company website we’ve ever seen.

There were some sales pages for their products (we’ve also reviewed their pre-workout called Siege). However, we were surprised to see Royal Sport Ltd didn’t have an ‘about us’ section.

This shows that this company haven’t put much effort into their website…let’s hope they tried harder when formulating their test booster, Royal T.

Royal T Ingredients Explained

We were disappointed by Royal Sport Ltd’s website. But we were even more disappointed to find that every ingredient inside Royal T were part of proprietary blends (we’ll expand on this just below).

PROPRIETARY BLEND WARNING…

Proprietary blends are mixtures of numerous ingredients that’re only shown to you as 1 quantity. As you can see from the ‘Royal Sport Testosterone & Virility Matrix’ on its ingredient list, the overall amount is 1,183mg – but you’re not shown the dosages of each ingredient inside such as Tribulus Terrestris.

This increases your risk of side effects, and also makes it uncertain whether this testosterone booster will work. For this reason, we try to avoid any supplement that contains proprietary blends.

Anyway, now that you know what proprietary blends are (and why they’re bad). We’ll take you through each ingredient inside Royal T – so you can see how effective this testosterone booster really is.

Here’s Everything You Need To Know:

D-Aspartic Acid

Also known simply as DAA, this is one of the best ingredients you can find in testosterone boosters; it’s proven to raise your test levels in numerous studies.

However, there’s one problem here; the same studies show that DAA only works in dosages between 2,000mg-3,000mg per serving.

As DAA is contained in a proprietary blend, no-one knows the exact dosage inside Royal T – meaning it might be ineffective here.

Ultimately, this is a great example of why you should avoid supplements containing proprietary blends.

Fenugreek Seed Extract

Fenugreek Seed Extract is another great addition to any test booster supplement; it’s shown to raise your libido and T levels in numerous studies too.

The best thing about this herb, is that it works in as small dosages from 50mg per serving. However, as it’s in a proprietary blend, we can’t even say for sure whether it’s contained in this amount.

Again, we can’t say whether Fenugreek Seed Extract will be effective in Royal T – another example of why proprietary blends are bad.

Tribulus Terrestris Extract

From good to bad; Tribulus is one of the worst ingredients you can add to a proprietary blend. But this is something Royal Sport Ltd has done.

Why? Because Tribulus has shown to increase the weight of your prostate in numerous studies (which can lead to serious male health issues you want to avoid).

For this reason, we advise you to stay away from any supplement containing Tribulus Terrestris.

Eurycoma Longifolia Extract

Also known as Longjack or Tongkat Ali; this isn’t the worst ingredient you can find, but it’s also not great.

Simply put, Euryoma Longifolia Extract has shown to improve your libido. But the problem is, it’s not shown to raise your testosterone levels.

Ultimately, we want to consume ingredients that are tried-and-tested to boost our test when buying these types of supplements. So we consider Eurycoma Longifolia Extract as ineffective in Royal T.

Rhodiola Rosea Extract

We’re not sure why Royal Sport Ltd has added Rhodiola Rosea into their testosterone booster. Basically, this herb can reduce fatigue while improving your focus in the gym – this makes it a perfect addition in pre-workout supplements.

However, as it’s not shown to affect your testosterone levels; we consider Rhodiola Rosea an ineffective ingredient in Royal T.

3-3 Diindolymethane

Also known as DIM, this can stop your testosterone from converting into estrogen. However, it’s not needed in natural test booster supplements (as there’s no danger in this happening anyway).

In fact, only steroids can cause this side effect. Simply put, companies add it into their test booster supplements to fool people into thinking it’s stronger than it really is.

But that’s not the only problem here; DIM can actually cause your testosterone to convert into estrogen when consumed in large dosages.

As DIM is part of a proprietary blend, no-one knows the exact dosage of it inside Royal T – putting you at risk of suffering from this side effect.

Again, this is another great example of why we hate proprietary blends (we hope you’re beginning to understand by now).

Stinging Nettle Root Extract

Stinging Nettle Root Extract is the last ingredient shown to have any positive effect on your test levels. However, we don’t consider this a key ingredient, as it’s not as effective as Vitamin D3 or our other favorite ingredients.

But it’s much better than DIM or Tribulus, so we’re giving Royal Sport Ltd the thumbs up here.

Saw Palmetto Fruit Extract

This is the extract taken from the fruit of the Saw Palmetto tree (also known as Serenoa Reopens). It’s believed to boost your testosterone levels while suppressing prostate growth.

We believe that Royal Sport Ltd were aware of the potential side effect that Tribulus can cause, so they added Saw Palmetto Fruit Extract to counteract this.

Ultimately, we believe that companies should never add ingredients that has shown to be harmful to their supplements in the first place.

Not only that, Saw Palmetto Fruit Extract has shown to cause side effects itself (we’ll expand on this in the side effects section).

Toothed Clubmoss (containing Huperzine A)

Basically, this Toothed Clubmoss is used in supplements due to containing Huperzine A. However, this is a bad thing – as Huperzine A has shown to cause numerous side effects.

Not only that, this isn’t needed in testosterone boosters; Huperzine A is believed to improve your cognition, but not your testosterone.

For this reason, if it’s going to be added into any supplement, it should be a Nootropic. But personally, we stay away from this ingredient as we don’t want to suffer from side effects.

Black Pepper Extract

You’ll know this from when you’ve added it to your food. But it’s more beneficial than simply making your food taste better…

Here’s why; Black Pepper Extract has shown to improve the digestion and absorption rate of supplements its consumed with.

It’s definitely a useful ingredient. But as it’s not shown to directly help you boost testosterone levels or lose fat, we never consider Black Pepper Extract as a key ingredient.

Side Effects

If you read the ingredients section above, you’ll know that Royal T contains ingredients that can cause numerous side effects. Well, this section is where we give you a quick overview of these side effects.

The worst ingredients inside Royal T is Tribulus Terrestris and DIM; these ingredients put you at risk of suffering from increased prostate weight and raised estrogen levels (both are serious side effects you want to avoid).

The other 2 ingredients that can cause side effects are Saw Palmetto Fruit Extract and Toothed Clubmoss (which contains Huperzine A). We’ll bullet point these all the side effects below…

Here are the potential side effects from taking Royal T:

  • Increased prostate weight (Tribulus Terrestris)
  • Raised estrogen levels (DIM)
  • Headache (Saw Palmetto Fruit Extract & Toothed Clubmoss)
  • Nausea (Saw Palmetto Fruit Extract & Toothed Clubmoss)
  • Diarrhea (Toothed Clubmoss containing Huperzine A)

Royal T Review Conclusion

While this is called ‘Royal T’, it’s not exactly the king of testosterone booster supplements. In fact, considering the HUGE $107.99 price tag (on GNC.com), it’s actually one of the worst products we’ve reviewed.

To put this into perspective, our favorite test booster is almost half the price of Royal T (and contains much better ingredients and delivered great results).

For this reason, Royal T by Royal Sport Ltd can’t compete with the best testosterone boosters on the market. We advise that you look at these, instead of wasting your cash on Royal T here.
