About The Product

ENDUR3 is a pre-workout supplement made by Olympus Labs. It costs $39.99 for 20 serving containers, meaning it’s been priced to compete with the highest rated products on the market.

We only found ENDUR3 available in Pina Colada flavor, and it wasn’t the worst tasting pre-workout we’ve tried. However, it also wasn’t the best either.

Anyway, we’ll analyze this pre-workout’s nutrient profile for you in the next section. But first, we’ll tell you more about Olympus Labs.

Who are Olympus Labs?

Olympus Labs are a USA-based supplements company. They’ve built their brand around greek mythology, aiming to ‘turn men into demigods’.

This company markets a number of products, and we’ve already reviewed their other pre-workout supplement called RE1GN before.

Being honest, RE1GN wasn’t the best product we’d seen before. But you’re here to learn about ENDUR3, so what matters is whether the ingredients inside ENDUR3 are safe and effective. This is exactly what we’ll let you know below…

ENDUR3 Ingredients Explained

You can’t ignore the fact that ENDUR3 contains over 20 ingredients. So even without looking, we can tell that this pre-workout will contain mostly under-dosed nutrients; it’s not cost effective for companies to add this many ingredients in optimal dosages.

For this reason, we prefer it when companies add under 10 nutrients. This leaves them enough of their budget to correctly dose nutrients, making it more likely for their product to actually work.

From first impression we’re worried, because we can’t see any key pre-workout ingredients in ENDUR3. Not only that, we noticed that this supplement contains Schisandra Chinensis Extract, which has been reported to cause numerous side effects.

Anyway, we’ll take you the most important ingredients in ENDUR3, so you can see how safe and effective this pre-workout really is. By the end of this review, you’ll know whether it’s worth trying out or not.

Here’s Everything You Need To Know:

BCAAs (L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine and L-Valine)

In case you didn’t know, BCAAs are made from these 2 branched chain amino acids; L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine and L-Valine.

BCAAs have shown to promote muscle protein synthesis, which is great. However, we personally prefer to consume this after a workout or before we perform cardio at the end of our gym session.

Ultimately, having BCAAs as part of a pre-workout is quite limiting; we’d rather buy this separately, to have the option of consuming this whenever we like, instead of being restricted to before a workout.

But there’s no negatives to having BCAAs here, and it can make a great ‘bonus’ addition to any supplement.

L-Tyrosine

L-Tyrosine is a brain booster that’s proven to boost your cognition. This is why we consider it to be a key addition to a nootropic supplement.

However, we don’t think that it’s as useful in a pre-workout; let’s face it, you don’t really need an increase in memory in the gym…

But saying that, there’s no negatives to having L-Tyrosine in ENDUR3 either, so it can be a great ‘bonus’ nutrient here too.

Taurine

Many people think that this is either bull’s urine or able to boost your energy levels. However, it’s not shown to do either of these things.

However, it’s not completely useless; Taurine is known for being able to reduce cramping during exercise, which can be useful.

But this same benefit can be achieved by simply keeping yourself hydrated anyway. For this reason, Taurine is another ‘bonus’ ingredient.

As you can see, ENDUR3 seems filled with ‘bonus’ ingredients, rather than key nutrients that can ‘make or break’ a product.

Glycerol

In case you’re wondering, HydroMax is a patented form of glycerol. It’s believed to be beneficial at helping you stay hydrated during exercise, but doesn’t make it a key addition to any supplement.

Agmatine Sulfate

Agmatine Sulfate is a compound extracted from L-Arginine. Studies have shown that it’s useful at helping to treat drug addiction and reduce pain; but these aren’t exactly key benefits that you’d buy a pre-workout for.

For this reason, we don’t believe this is necessary in ENDUR3.

Schisandra Chinensis Extract

This is a form of berry that’s known for it’s tart taste. It’s believed to be able to reduce anxiety and increase your nitric oxide levels (which would help enhance your muscle pumps).

However, we consider it to be an unreliable nutrient, as there isn’t enough evidence to prove that it actually works.

Not only that, Schisandra Chinensis Extract has been reported to cause side effects such as nausea, upset stomach and decreased appetite.

Camellia Sinensis Extract

You’ve probably heard of this ingredient by it’s less formal name; Green Tea Extract.

We’re not sure why Olympus Labs have added this into ENDUR3, as it’s doesn’t deliver any benefits that’ll help improve your gym session.

Green Tea Extract is most useful in a fat burner supplement, where it’s a key ingredient; this is because it’s proven to raise your metabolism and promote fat loss.

For this reason, as ENDUR3 is a pre-workout supplement, it’s not really needed here. But there’s also no negatives to having Green Tea Extract here either.

Coconut Water Extract

Again, this is more of a ‘bonus’ ingredient rather than a key one; Coconut Water Extract contains high amounts of potassium and electrolytes, which helps keep you hydrated throughout your workout.

But ultimately, it’s not going to ‘make or break’ a pre-workout supplement. Saying that, there’s no negatives to having Coconut Water Extract in ENDUR3, as it’s not been reported to cause any side effects.

Side Effects

Although ENDUR3 by Olympus Labs is lacking key pre-workout ingredients, it only contains 1 ingredient that’s been reported to cause side effects, which is better than most.

In case you skimmed past the section above, Schisandra Chinensis Extract has been commonly reported to cause numerous side effects (which we’ll bullet point below).

Here’s the potential side effects from taking ENDUR3:

  • Nausea (Schisandra Chinensis Extract)
  • Upset Stomach (Schisandra Chinensis Extract)
  • Decreased Appetite (Schisandra Chinensis Extract)

ENDUR3 Review Conclusion

Remember that ENDUR3 contains over 20 ingredients overall, but we’ve only covered the most important ones – to save us both from being here all day.

There’s simply no need to add this many ingredients into 1 supplement; we’ve found that the best pre-workouts on the market contain under 10 nutrients, but companies have made sure they’ve been dosed optimally.

Ultimately, Olympus Labs have managed to add over 20 ingredients, but not even 1 key pre-workout nutrient; we would have preferred Olympus Labs to remove 10 or more nutrients, if it meant that they would have added Citrulline Malate instead (as this has proven to enhance your muscle pumps in the gym).
