About The Product

Vitaligenix is a testosterone booster supplement made by MuscleTech. It’s priced at $191.99 for 60 servings, which makes this product the most expensive test booster we’ve reviewed on LeanBulking.com.

As a result, we’re expecting nothing but the best, as the highest rated T-Boosters can save you a lot of cash.

However, the good news is that from first glance, it looks promising. To be honest, MuscleTech are a company that demands respect in the industry, so this product was never going to be bad.

We’ll tell you more about the company, before analyzing Vitaligenix T10’s nutrient profile for you in the next section.

Who are MuscleTech?

MuscleTech are one of the biggest supplement brands in the industry. They’re owned by a larger company called Iovate Health Sciences Inc; known especially for their series of Hydroxycut fat burners.

In fact, we’re big fans of the company, with their Hydroxycut Titanium making it onto our top 3 fat burners list. For this reason we’re keen to see whether Vitaligenix T10 can compete with the highest rated testosterone boosters on the market.

Vitaligenix T10 Ingredients Explained

Vitaligenix T10 contains 7 ingredients overall, which is a good number to have in a test booster; we’re always disappointed by products that contain over 10 nutrients, as companies usually try to keep the costs down by under-dosing them (making them ineffective).

So good start by MuscleTech here. On further inspection, we’re happy to see that Fenugreek Seed Extract is included on Vitaligenix T10’s ingredient list too.

Anyway, you’ll find everything out as we explain in more detail below. We’ll take you through each ingredient inside this testosterone booster, so you can see how effective Vitaligenix T10 really is.

Here’s Everything You Need To Know:

Fenugreek Seed Extract

We mentioned that we were happy to see that MuscleTech had included this ingredient. Fenugreek Seed Extract is a herb that’s been used for decades in ayurveda (Traditional Indian Medicine) for raising men’s sex drive.

As science has progressed, more studies were conducted on Fenugreek Seed Extract; they proved that it was effective at raising your testosterone and libido in numerous studies, making it very reliable.

Not only that, the same studies showed that this nutrient works in dosages as low as 50mg per serving. Ultimately, this also makes it one of the most efficient ingredients in the industry too.

With Vitaligenix containing 300mg Fenugreek Seed Extract, it’ll be effective here. Good start by MuscleTech.

Maca Extract

Maca Extract is another herb that’s been used in ayurveda for decades. Similarily to Fenugreek, it’s shown to raise your libido, which is a great benefit to have in a testosterone booster.

However, these studies revealed that Maca Extract only provides reliable benefits when consumed in dosages of 1,500mg-3,000mg.

As Vitaligenix T10 only contains 300mg, it’s not guaranteed to work here.

Tribulus Terrestris Extract

This is the only ingredient we have a problem with, in MuscleTech’s Vitaligenix T10.

Why? While Tribulus Terestris has shown to raise your libido, it’s also been reported to cause an increase in prostate weight.

Ultimately, this side effect can lead to potentially severe side effects later. As a result, we always recommend you to try avoiding testosterone boosters containing Tribulus Terrestris.

If MuscleTech had replaced this with an optimal 5,000mg dosage of Vitamin D3, then we would have been very happy. But still, in all fairness, Tribulus Terrestris has shown to boost your libido, so we can see why they’ve added this herb.

Boron

Boron is a dietary mineral that’s found naturally in green vegetables, beans, pulses and fruit. However, it would be very difficult to consume a dosage high enough to raise your test levels from these food sources.

For this reason, Boron is a useful ingredient to add into a testosterone booster. While we don’t consider it to be a ‘key’ addition (as the boost in test levels has only shown to be minimal), one thing is for sure – Boron works.

Broccoli Extract

You will know this as the green vegetable that’s great for your health. It’s no surprise that most bodybuilders consume masses of broccoli, and we try to include it in every meal.

We can see why MuscleTech has added Broccoli Extract into Vitaligenix T10; it contains DIM, which is a nutrient shown to stop your testosterone levels from converting into estrogen.

However, it’s important to know that no natural testosterone booster is strong enough to cause this side effect; only steroids or pro hormones come with the risk of causing man boobs.

For this reason, Broccoli Extract isn’t really needed in Vitaligenix T10. But there’s also no harm in having this here, and we’re sure it still comes with the same vitamins and minerals that you would consume when eating the vegetable as part of your meals.

So ultimately, while it’s not a necessary addition, there’s also no problem having this here either.

Olive Leaf Extract

The leaves from the olive plant contains phenolics (specifically oleuropein); this is believed to offer protection against LDL oxidation and is able to reduce your blood pressure.

If this sounds complicated, it basically improves your general health.

However, there hasn’t been any study to prove that Olive Leaf Extract is able to boost your testosterone levels. As a result, we consider Olive Leaf Extract to be another unnecessary addition to Vitaligenix T10.

We would have preferred MuscleTech to have included Vitamin D3 instead. But again, as Olive Leaf Extract doesn’t cause any side effects, there’s no real negatives either.

Safed Musli Extract

Also known as Chlorophytum Borivilianum, this is a Rasayane herb typically used in Indian Medicine.

What does it do? Well, it’s believed to be an aphrodisiac, and has shown to be effective in studies involving rats.

However, the problem is that Safed Musli Extract hasn’t been involved in any human studies; this means that we have to consider this to be an unreliable ingredient in Vitaligenix T10.

Most Effective Test Booster Ingredients

We don’t want to seem like we’re criticizing MuscleTech’s Vitaligenix T10 without any evidence to back up our claims. For this reason, we’re giving you a quick overview of what you should be looking for on your search for the best testosterone booster.

Simply put, the best T-Boosters deliver these benefits:

  • Increased Testosterone Production
  • Enhanced Libido
  • Pack on Lean Muscle Faster

We strongly believe that these are the 3 key benefits of purchasing taking these supplements – why else would you buy one?

Personally, these are the main reasons why we tried numerous testosterone boosters – before finally finding our top 3 favorite products. The reason why it took almost 20 years to find a test booster that actually works, is because there’s so much sh*t on the market – it was like trying to find the best grain of sand in a beach.

Anyway, especially after starting to work in the supplements industry, we noticed that there were key ingredients to look for in these supplements…

Here are the ingredients proven to raise testosterone levels:

  • Vitamin D3 – This is technically a hormone that’s proven to be safe and reliable. This is how good it is: Doctors believe if you’re going to choose just one ingredient to benefit your overall health, then Vitamin D3 is the best option. What’s even better, is that it’s shown to significantly increase testosterone levels in numerous studies. One thing to remember; make sure to consume the optimal dosage (at least 3,332IU per serving).
  • D-Aspartic Acid – DAA  is very important, as it helps to regulate your testosterone levels. For this reason, giving your body a helping hand by supplementing between 2,000mg-3,000mg can really give you that ‘kick’ of testosterone that you need as you get older. DAA is one of our favorite ingredients, and deserves a place on this list.
  • Fenugreek – This herb has been used in ayurveda (traditional Indian) medicine for centuries. So what does it do? Well, it’s proven to boost libido and testosterone levels in numerous studies. The best thing about Fenugreek, is that it’s effective in dosages as small as 50mg (meaning Frenugreek’s a reliable addition to any T-Booster that you don’t need in huge amounts).
  • Asian Red Panax Ginseng – This is not often seen on ingredient lists of testosterone boosters – it’s not well known, and we know that companies prefer to add more ‘reputable’ ingredients such as Tribulus Terrestris (but Tribulus Terestris has shown to be ineffective in numerous studies). This is where Asian Red Panax Ginseng comes in; it’s proven to have a positive effect on your T-Levels, and even your general health (making it an all-round great ingredient).

Side Effects

You’re only at risk from 1 possible side effect when taking Vitaligenix; this is pretty good, considering other testosterone boosters contain numerous potentially harmful nutrients.

However, we have to point out that Tribulus Terrestris Extract comes with the risk of increasing your prostate weight. This can ultimately lead to severe male health issues later in life, which we try to avoid.

Here’s the potential side effects from taking Vitaligenix T10:

  • Increased prostate weight

Vitaligenix T10 Review Conclusion

In conclusion, Vitaligenix T10 seems like a good product; it contains a key test boosting ingredient proven to work (Fenugreek Seed Extract), along with nutrients that have shown to raise your libido.

However, we can’t ignore that MuscleTech has added Tribulus Terrestris Extract, which can cause a side effect (as you can see in the section above).

Ultimately, we’ll repeat that Vitaligenix T10 is a good product. However, for the price of $191.99, it doesn’t seem like good value for money; all of the highest rated testosterone boosters on the market cost under $80, so we would advise you to look at other options (to get the most for your money).
