About The Product

Steel Hard Test Booster is a testosterone booster supplement made by SteelFit. It costs $89.99 for 30 serving containers, making it one of the more expensive products on the market.

The serving size for this test booster is 3 capsules per day; this is great, as studies show that 3-4 daily capsule servings keep your body fuelled – giving you the best chance at raising your testosterone levels.

First Glance

Our initial opinion of Steel Hard Test Booster is good. It contains 3 key testosterone boosting nutrients; Vitamin D3, Fenugreek Seed Extract and Panax Ginseng Extract, which is more than most.

However, we have to point out that the Vitamin D3 has been under-dosed (we’ll expand on this later in the next section).

Anyway, we’ll tell you more about the company behind this test booster, SteelFit, before analyzing its nutrient profile for you.

Who are SteelFit?

On their website, SteelFit state that they’ve been around for 35 years. However, this was only a paragraph of text, and they didn’t have a dedicated ‘about us’ page; we feel that every company should take time and effort to tell you about their history and motives (taking care of their website will show that they care about their image and the quality of their products).

Anyway, this isn’t a criticism, as a website doesn’t affect the quality of their products really. It’s just a personal preference.

So now that we’ve given you our useless opinion of their website, let’s get to something we can actually provide expert advice on; the ingredients inside Steel Hard Test Booster.

Steel Hard Test Booster Ingredients Explained

Steel Hard Test Booster contains 7 main ingredients that we’ll analyze for you today. This is a good number to have in a supplement; from experience, we know that products containing over 10 ingredients are almost always underdosed, so this gives SteelFit a good chance of optimally dosing nutrients for the same cost.

Ultimately, we’d rather have less ingredients that are dosed correctly, than more ingredients that are under-dosed.

However, on first glance, we’re disappointed that Vitamin D3 has been under-dosed. However, the rest of the ingredients seemed to be in better dosages.

We’ll take you through each ingredient inside Steel Hard Test Booster; so you can see how effective it really is.

Here’s Everything You Need To Know:

Vitamin D3

Vitamin D3 is probably our all-time favorite test boosting ingredient for one reason – it works.

It’s actually considered to be a hormone, because your body produces it when your skin is exposed to sunlight. But it does much more than just raise your T; Vitamin D3 has also proven to reduce fatigue, improve your mood and even your cognition – not bad, eh?

So you can see why we like it so much. But it’s important to know that Vitamin D3 only works when consumed in dosages of 3,332IU-5,000IU.

For this reason, we always advise you to check the nutrient profile of each supplement before you buy it. Unfortunately, you’ll be able to see that SteelFit have seriously under-dosed Vitamin D3 by only adding 1,000IU in Steel Hard Test Booster.

What does this mean? It means that Vitamin D3 might not be effective here. Simply put, this is a great example of why getting the dosage right is so important.

Zinc & Magnesium

We’ve grouped these 2 minerals together, as we don’t consider them to be ‘key’ additions to any test booster.

There’s no arguing that they can raise your testosterone levels, but most multivitamins and test boosters also contain them; this means that Zinc & Magnesium aren’t defining ingredients that’ll put a product ahead of the other.

But we will warn you about one thing; the TUL (tolerable upper limit) for Zinc is 40mg per day. If you exceed this amount, then you might suffer from diarrhea or other non-severe side effects.

For this reason, we advise that you choose a supplement that contains a maximum of 10mg Zinc (whether it’s Zinc Sulfate or Aspartate). Ultimately, this will leave you enough space to consume foods high in Zinc, such as red meat and poultry, without suffering side effects.

Unfortanately, SteelFit has made a mistake here; they’ve added a HUGE 30mg dosage of Zinc in here, which puts you at risk.

In all fairness, consuming high dosages of Zinc short-term hasn’t shown to be harmful. So if you’re not considering taking Steel Hard Test Booster for more than 1 month, then you’ll be fine anyway.

Boron

Boron is another mineral that’s naturally found in foods such as beans, legumes and meats. It’s also shown to have positive effects on your testosterone levels, so it’s a useful addition to Steel Hard Test Booster.

However, Boron hasn’t shown to be as reliable or effective compared to Vitamin D3 or other key T boosting nutrients. For this reason, we consider it more as a ‘bonus’ than a main ingredient.

But we’re glad that SteelFit have done their research and added ingredients shown to work.

Fenugreek Seed Extract

A herb that’s commonly been used in ayurveda (Traditional Indian Medicine), it’s been used for decades as an aphrodisiac and test booster. And for good reason – it works.

In fact, modern studies have proven that Fenugreek Seed Extract is able to raise both your testosterone levels and sex drive; these are exactly the benefits we want when taking a test booster supplement.

For this reason, we believe that Fenugreek Seed Extract is the perfect addition to any test booster. It’s been dosed well here, as this herb has shown to work in dosages as low as 50mg (making it one of the most efficient nutrients available).

Ashwagandha Extract

We have mixed opinions about Ashwagandha Extract; while it’s shown to improve your power output in the gym, it’s not proven to raise your testosterone levels.

Everyone can agree that improvements in strength is great. However, increasing your testosterone levels naturally will deliver this benefit (which Ashwagandha can’t do).

For this reason, we believe that Ashwagandha Extract would be more useful in a pre-workout supplement. Although, we still don’t think it would be a key addition to those products either.

Tongkat Ali

Also known as Eurycoma Longifolia or Longjack, this is known for it’s ability to raise your libido. Studies have backed this up too, so it’s reliable at delivering this benefit.

However, if we were to be picky, we’d mention that Tongkat Ali hasn’t proven to raise your testosterone levels. But as a boost in sex drive is a key benefit we look for when taking testosterone supplements, we still consider this herb to be a useful addition to Steel Hard Test Booster.

Ultimately, Tongkat Ali can’t compete with nutrients such as Vitamin D3 or Fenugreek Seed Extract. But it still offers a useful benefit here.

Panax Ginseng Extract

More commonly known as Asian Red Panax Ginseng Extract, this is another key test boosting ingredient, so great job by SteelFit here.

Panax Ginseng Extract is actually referred to as the ‘true’ ginseng, as it’s the most reliable and researched form of this herb. For this reason, there’s no arguments about whether it works – it definitely does, and numerous studies have proven it.

What does it do? Well, this herb has shown to raise your testosterone levels when consumed in dosages between 100mg-200mg. As there’s a 100mg dosage in Steel Hard Test Booster, it’ll be likely to help boost your T levels here.

Side Effects

The good news is that none of the ingredients are on any ‘blacklist’ of any sort; the FDA have approved every single ingredient inside Steel Hard Test Booster, so there’s no risk of harmful side effects here.

However, we have to mentioned that Steel Hard Test Booster contains a HUGE 30mg dosage of Zinc. Considering the TUL (tolerable upper limit) for Zinc is 40mg per day, this puts you very close to that safety limit. If you consume high amounts of meat or poultry, you’ll be at risk from diarrhea.

But even the side effects associated with consuming too much Zinc aren’t serious.

Here’s the potential side effects from taking Steel Hard Test Booster:

  • Diarrhea (Overdose of Zinc)
  • Nausea (Overdose of Zinc)
  • Tingling & Itching (Overdose of Zinc)

Steel Hard Test Booster Review Conclusion

Steel Hard Test Booster is definitely one of the better supplements we’ve reviewed this year. It contains 3 key test boosting ingredients, with others being able to raise your libido.

However, the main dissapointment for us, was that SteelFit had under-dosed Vitamin D3 at 1,000IU; this is a good dosage for reducing fatigue, but for the purpose of raising your testosterone levels, studies have shown that you need at least 3,332IU daily servings.

In fact, if SteelFit had included an optimal dosage of Vitamin D3, Steel Hard Test Booster would have placed in our highest rated testosterone booster supplements ranking this year.

However, because of this, we don’t believe that this product can compete with the best on the market; remember that Steel Hard Test Booster is priced at $89,99. Well, the best test boosters on the market all cost less than this.
