About The Product

Test 4K SX-7 Revolution is a testosterone booster by MuscleTech. It costs $169.99 for 30 servings, making this not only the most expensive test booster we’ve reviewed – but the most expensive product in general.

MuscleTech has provided a great serving size with Test 4K SX-7 Revolution; we always recommend that you choose a test booster with a daily serving size of 3-4 capsules, as this keeps your body fuelled throughout the day (instead of just a few hours).

From first glance, we’re happy to see that MuscleTech has included our favorite test boosting nutrient, Vitamin D3. However, we can also see that it’s been seriously under-dosed (we’ll expand on this in the next section).

Anyway, we’ll analyze Test 4K SX-7 Revolution’s nutrient profile. But before, we’ll tell you more about the company behind it.

Who are MuscleTech

In all honesty, MuscleTech don’t need any introduction; they’re one of the most established supplement companies in the industry.

In fact, they even managed to sponsor Arnold Schwarzenegger at one point (although the legend cut the deal with MuscleTech in 2016). But will provide a good indication of how respected MuscleTech are, for those new to supplements.

We’ve reviewed quite a few of their products, and we were really big fans of their fat burner, Hydroxycut Titanium (which we awarded an impressive 4 star rating and a place in our top 3 list). As a result, we’re expecting big things from Test 4K SX-7 Revolution, so let’s see what’s inside…

Test 4K SX-7 Revolution Ingredients Explained

There are 9 ingredients overall in Test 4K SX-7 Revolution. This is a good number, as we usually find that supplements containing over 10 nutrients are usually under-dosed.

For this reason, we’ll be keeping a close eye on the dosages of the 9 ingredients in Test 4K SX-7 Revolution; ultimately, this will determine whether MuscleTech’s product will help raise your test levels and deliver benefits to help you change your physique, or be a waste of money.

Let’s get straight into it, and see how effective Test 4K SX-7 Revolution really is.

Here’s Everything You Need To Know:

Vitamin D3

A great start by MuscleTech here by adding our favorite testosterone boosting nutrient. Vitamin D3 is technically a hormone, as it’s produced by your body by being synthesized from the sun’s rays, after your skin is exposed to it.

While it’s one of the best test boosting ingredients, it’s also effective at eliminating fatigue and improving your general health. In fact, if we had to choose 1 nutrient to supplement, then it would be Vitamin D3 – that’s how good it is.

So why do people need to supplement this if they can get it from the sun? Well, many of us spend our time indoors, in offices or might even live in rainy countries (not everyone is as lucky as us in Arizona or California in the USA). For this reason, they might become deficient in Vitamin D3, and consuming more can really boost everything from test levels to your general health.

But there’s a problem; human studies have shown that Vitamin D3 is only effective at raising your testosterone levels when consumed in dosages of 3,332IU-5,oooIU.

As a result, we always check to see whether a test booster contains Vitamin D3 in this dosage range. Unfortunately, Test 4K SX-7 Revolution only contains 400IU – meaning it’s been seriously under-dosed and not likely to work.

Medium Chain Trigylceride Oil

If you’re wondering what this is, MCT’s are basically fatty acids and are naturally found in coconut oil; this is one of the reasons why coconut oil has gained a good reputation.

However, while MCT’s can improve your general health (and might even promote fat loss), it hasn’t shown to have any effect on your testosterone levels.

For this reason, we consider MCT’s to be an uncecessary addition to Test 4K SX-7 Revolution or any testosterone booster supplement.

Boron

This is a mineral that’s shown to have a slightly positive effect on your testosterone levels. However, while we don’t consider Boron to be a key addition to any test booster, it’s definitely a great bonus ingredient to have.

The main thing is that Boron is able to have a direct effect at raising your test levels, making it better than MCT’s here. But we would have preferred MuscleTech to remove MCT’s and Boron, in order to raise the dosage of Vitamin D3.

Ashwagandha Extract

Ashwagandha is a herb that’s shown to improve your power output, while reducing anxiety levels. This makes it a suitable addition to a pre-workout supplement.

However, there’s no need for Ashwagandha Extract in Test 4K SX-7 Revolution; it hasn’t proven to raise your testosterone levels or libido, making it an unnecessary addition to Test 4K SX-7 Revolution.

Ultimately, a raise in testosterone levels will improve your strength, so Ashwagandha’s benefits aren’t needed here.

Tongkat Ali

Also known as Eurycoma Longifolia Extract or Longjack; this is a herb that’s been used in ayurvedic (Traditional Indian Medicine) for decades. It’s believed to be an aphrodisiac and has shown promising results at strengthening your erections.

However, unfortunately Tongkat Ali hasn’t proven to raise your testosterone levels. While improvements in your erections is never a bad thing, if you’re paying $169.99 for a testosterone booster, you’ll mostly want ingredients proven to get the job done (and a natural raise in testosterone levels will enhance your sexual function anyway).

Maca Extract

We mentioned that Tongkat Ali wasn’t able to raise your testosterone levels. Well, Maca Extract hasn’t shown to be reliable in human studies either.

However, it’s not all doom-and-gloom here; Maca Extract is known for being able to raise your libido, and has been used as an aphrodisiac for this reason.

But again, if you’re paying $169.99 for a test booster, you’ll want to see an increase in testosterone levels (which will boost your libido anyway).

Safed Musli Extract

Also known as Chlorophytum Borivilianum, this is a herb that’s used in Indian Medicine. It’s shown promising signs of being an aphrodisiac, but these results haven’t been replicated in any human studies; Safed Musli Extract has only been effective in studies involving rats.

For this reason, we consider Safed Musli Extract as an unreliable ingredient in Test 4K SX-7 Revolution. And to be honest, no studies have shown that it’s able to raise your testosterone levels either, making it ineffective too.

Brocolli Extract

Yes, this is the same green vegetable that we all should be consuming. But while we try and consume brocolli as part of most meals, personally, we don’t see the need to consume it through supplements.

Saying that, we see why MuscleTech has included Brocolli Extract; it contains DIM, which is known for stopping your testosterone converting into estrogen.

However, this is a side effect only associated with steroids. Remember that Test 4K SX-7 Revolution is a natural test booster, so you’re never at risk from suffering from man boobs here anyway; as much as some companies try to make you believe, no natural test booster is as strong as steroids, but they won’t cause potential long-term damage to your health either.

Anyway, the bottom line is that Brocolli Extract is an unnecessary addition to Test 4K SX-7 Revolution.

Akarkara Extract

Also known as Anacyclus Pyrethrum, it’s been used in ayurveda (Traditional Indian Medicine) and is believed to improve your sexual function and raise your testosterone levels.

While it sounds like a perfect ingredient to have in Test 4K SX-7 Revolution, there hasn’t been any studies proving that it actually works. We’ll be keeping a close eye on Akarkara Extract in the future, but for now it’s an ineffective ingredient.

Most Effective Test Booster Ingredients

We don’t want to seem like we’re criticizing Test 4K SX-7 Revolution without any evidence to back up our claims. For this reason, we’re giving you a quick overview of what you should be looking for on your search for the best testosterone booster.

Simply put, the best T-Boosters deliver these benefits:

  • Increased Testosterone Production
  • Enhanced Libido
  • Pack on Lean Muscle Faster

We strongly believe that these are the 3 key benefits of purchasing taking these supplements – why else would you buy one?

Personally, these are the main reasons why we tried numerous testosterone boosters – before finally finding our top 3 favorite products. The reason why it took almost 20 years to find a test booster that actually works, is because there’s so much sh*t on the market – it was like trying to find the best grain of sand in a beach.

Anyway, especially after starting to work in the supplements industry, we noticed that there were key ingredients to look for in these supplements…

Here are the ingredients proven to raise testosterone levels:

  • Vitamin D3 – This is technically a hormone that’s proven to be safe and reliable. This is how good it is: Doctors believe if you’re going to choose just one ingredient to benefit your overall health, then Vitamin D3 is the best option. What’s even better, is that it’s shown to significantly increase testosterone levels in numerous studies. One thing to remember; make sure to consume the optimal dosage (at least 3,332IU per serving).
  • D-Aspartic Acid – DAA  is very important, as it helps to regulate your testosterone levels. For this reason, giving your body a helping hand by supplementing between 2,000mg-3,000mg can really give you that ‘kick’ of testosterone that you need as you get older. DAA is one of our favorite ingredients, and deserves a place on this list.
  • Fenugreek – This herb has been used in ayurveda (traditional Indian) medicine for centuries. So what does it do? Well, it’s proven to boost libido and testosterone levels in numerous studies. The best thing about Fenugreek, is that it’s effective in dosages as small as 50mg (meaning Frenugreek’s a reliable addition to any T-Booster that you don’t need in huge amounts).
  • Asian Red Panax Ginseng – This is not often seen on ingredient lists of testosterone boosters – it’s not well known, and we know that companies prefer to add more ‘reputable’ ingredients such as Tribulus Terrestris (but Tribulus Terestris has shown to be ineffective in numerous studies). This is where Asian Red Panax Ginseng comes in; it’s proven to have a positive effect on your T-Levels, and even your general health (making it an all-round great ingredient).

Side Effects

The good news is this; Test 4K SX-7 Revolution doesn’t contain any ingredients that have been reported to cause any side effects.

We’re always relieved to see this, and we’re glad that MuscleTech have upheld their reputation by putting your safety first here.

Test 4K SX-7 Revolution Review Conclusion

There’s no damaging MuscleTech’s reputation; there’s no denying that they’re one of the most respected companies in the supplement industry.

However, we’ll be completely honest here; for the price of $169.99, we were expecting a much better product with at least Vitamin D3 optimally dosed.

Ultimately, the highest rated testosterone boosters at the moment are half the price of Test 4K SX-7 Revolution; but these contain optimal dosages of Vitamin D3 and other effective nutrients. So we’re wondering why Test 4K SX-7 Revolution is so expensive.

We remember when there was a ‘Sony Tax’ for TV’s; when Sony unneccesarily raised the prices of their TV’s simply because of their reputation. And we have a feeling that MuscleTech are playing on their big reputation by putting the HUGE price tag on Test 4K SX-7 Revolution too.

Personally, we don’t feel that you’ll be getting good value for money with Test 4K SX-7 Revolution. Paying $169.99 for 30 servings simply isn’t necessary to get an effective product, and we’ve seen better for much less (so take your wife out for dinner and choose a product that costs half of Test 4K SX-7 Revolution price).
