About The Product

CRIT is a nootropic supplement made by GG Labs (Good Game Labs). It costs $34.99 for 30 serving containers, which is a pretty good price tag.

But we’ll be analyzing CRIT’s nutrient profile to see whether it’s good value for money. But we do like the packaging, and that this is made specifically for gaming (we’re big fans of Mario Kart and always like to have the ‘edge’ – unless our competition always picks up red shells!).

Anyway, we’ll tell you more about the company behind CRIT first, below.

Who Are GG Labs?

As we’ve already mentioned, GG Labs stands for Good Game Labs. You can tell by the name of this company that they make supplements targeted at ‘gamers’ – which makes them pretty niche, in all fairness.

But fortunately, here at LeanBulking.com, we enjoy a few hours on Street Fighter, Tekken, Mario Kart (one of our contributors is actually from Tokyo, Japan, so you can see why).

CRIT is GG Labs’ first supplement, so we’re hoping to see a strong product that’ll gain them some serious EXP points. So let’s take a look at the ingredients inside in the section below.

HADOUKEN.

CRIT Gaming Nootropic Ingredients Explained

Alright, so we’re going deep into CRIT Gaming Nootropic’s nutrient profile here. And first impressions are pretty good – we like that Good Game Labs have kept it simple here with 5 ingredients (instead of going crazy and adding over 10 ingredients like other products).

We won’t waste valuable time here, so let’s get right into this review. We’ll take you through each ingredient inside – so you can see exactly how effective CRIT Gaming Nootropic is.

CRIT Gaming Nootropic Supplement Facts

  • Caffeine Anhydrous – 200mg
  • L-Theanine – 200mg
  • Black Pepper Extract – 25mg
  • Alpha-GPC – 245mg
  • Huperzine A – 25mcg

Here’s Everything You Need To Know:

Caffeine Anhydrous

Caffeine can be a great addition to a nootropic supplement; it’s proven to boost your focus in the gym and outside.

You can’t forget the energy boost that Caffeine provides either. In fact, this will be one of the main reasons why Good Game Labs have added Caffeine here – to keep you alert during an intense gaming session.

However, personally we don’t believe Caffeine is essential in CRIT Gaming Nootropic – we prefer consuming coffee, so you can regulate your caffeine intake better.

Ultimately, too much Caffeine can lead to jitters and energy crashes (which would lead to more Game Overs, and might even cut your gaming time short).

But, one thing is for sure – Caffeine will boost your focus and energy levels in sensible dosages.

L-Theanine

When L-Theanine is consumed alongside Caffeine, it forms a ‘Smart-Caffeine’; this raises your focus even more.

In fact, this combination of ingredients is great for pre-workout supplements. We believe this combo is better in a pre-workout supplement – don’t get us wrong, Good Game Labs’ CRIT Gaming Nootropic looks good, but if you’re looking for a serious boost in energy levels, then take a look at our favorite pre-workouts on the market.

Trust us, taking a pre-workout before gaming is pretty intense…

Black Pepper Extract

We like that Good Game Labs have done their research here; they’ve correctly marketed Black Pepper Extract as more of a power up nutrient, rather than a key player.

Basically, Black Pepper Extract can improve your digestion and absorption rate of supplements – and we all know how much Gordon Ramsay loves this stuff…

It’s definitely a useful addition to any product, but it’s never a key player either.

Alpha-GPC

This is an interesting choice by Good Game Labs. Alpha-GPC is a cholinergic compound that’s believed to improve your cognition.

However, it’s been reported to cause some side effects – which is never a good thing, especially when you’re aiming to break a few records or smash your friends with a few red shells…

We always say this; it’s not worth paying for supplements that can cause side effects. You can get coffee for free, which boosts your energy and focus – so you should really only be looking at the best Nootropics available.

Personally, we prefer nootropic ingredients such as Lion’s Mane Mushroom (Yamabushitake); this is proven to work in countless studies.

But in all fairness, Alpha-GPC does work – it just comes with a few side effects too (see the next section for more info).

Huperzine A

Huperzine A is another cognitive enhancing nutrient that’s been reported to cause numerous side effects. In fact, this is one of the ingredients we advise you to avoid for this reason.

Not only that; there hasn’t been enough studies on Huperzine A to even suggest that it works (making it an unreliable ingredient).

As we mentioned before, there are many better, reliable ingredients to choose from – such as Lion’s Mane Mushroom.

Here’s the potential side effects from taking CRIT Gaming Nootropic:

  • Heartburn (Alpha-GPC)

  • Diarrhea (Huperzine A)

CRIT Gaming Nootropic Review Conclusion

Ultimately, CRIT Gaming Nootropic is a great first attempt at a supplement by Good Game Labs. In fact, it’s probably the best first product we’ve seen yet.

However, we’re confident that Good Game Labs will create a product that’ll rank in our top 3 nootropics scoreboard in the future. For now though, we don’t believe CRIT Gaming Nootropic can compete with the others on our highest rankings.
