FinaFlex-Stimul8-Loaded-Review

About The Product

Stimul8 LOADED is a pre-workout supplement made by FinaFlex, new for 2018. It costs $66.95 for 20 servings, making it more of a premium priced supplement, so we have high expectations because of this.

From first glance, we’re happy that FinaFlex haven’t hidden any ingredients in proprietary blends; this means you can see the exact dosages of nutrients in Stimul8 LOADED.

However, we can’t ignore that key pre-workout nutrients, such as Citrulline Malate & Creatine Monohydrate, have been left out.

Anyway, we’ll expand on this as we analyze Stimul8 LOADED’s nutrient profile for you in the next section. But first, we’ll tell you more about the company behind it.

Who are FinaFlex?

FinaFlex are a USA-based supplements company that have become known for their premium priced supplements. In fact, they’re especially highly rated for their pre-workout supplements, so this is why we’re so excited to review Stimul8 LOADED.

In all honesty, we couldn’t find out much more information about this company on their website. But you’re here to learn about Stimul8 LOADED anyway, so let’s see which ingredients are inside below…

Stimul8 LOADED Ingredients Explained

FinaFlex’s Stimul8 LOADED contains 9 main ingredients, which we consider to be a good number to have in a pre-workout; we believe that there’s no need to add more than 10 nutrients into any supplement, and instead ensure to dose fewer ingredients optimally – to offer better value for money and results.

We can see that FinaFlex did their research while formulating this pre-workout supplement, as they’ve added a great dosage of Beta-Alanine.

But there are a few problems in our honest opinion; Beta-Alanine is also known for causing itchy & tingly skin, and Betaine has been reported to cause your breath and sweat to smell fishy.

We’ll take you through each ingredient inside Stimul8 LOADED in this section. By the end of this review, you’ll have a good idea of how safe and effective this pre-workout really is.

Here’s Everything You Need To Know:

Beta-Alanine

Many people have mixed opinions about this ingredient; Beta-Alanine has shown to be beneficial by improving your muscular endurance, but also capable of causing your skin to feel itchy & tingly.

Personally, we find this side effect very distracting while trying to focus on our gym session. So we prefer pre-workouts that don’t contain Beta-Alanine (our honest opinion).

But we do respect that not everyone is badly affected by paresthesia (itchy & tingly skin) after consuming Beta-Alanine. For this reason, we’ll leave this up to personal preference.

MCT Powder

In case you’re wondering, MCT is a fatty acid that’s most notably found in coconut oil. It’s shown to be beneficial to your general health and might even help you lose fat slightly.

However, the bad news is that MCT Powder isn’t going to offer any immediate advantages to improve your gym session. For this reason, while it can be a ‘bonus’ addition, it’s not really necessary in Stimul8 LOADED.

Ultimately, we would have much preferred a key pre-workout nutrient such as Citrulline Malate instead (which has proven to enhance your muscle pumps while you lift weights).

Betaine Anhydrous

We’ll be pretty honest with you here, we personally prefer not to consume Betaine Anhydrous.

Why? Because studies show that Betaine can cause your breath and sweat to smell fishy (a side effect officially known as trimethylaminuria).

Not only that, studies haven’t actually shown Betaine Anhydrous to be very reliable at delivering benefits to improve your workout. As a result, we consider Betaine to be an unreliable addition to Stimul8 LOADED.

FinaFlex could have improved this pre-workout by adding something more beneficial such as Creatine Monohydrate; this has proven to boost your strength and endurance in the gym.

Inositol Stabilized Arginine Silicate

This is more commonly known under the brand name ‘NitroSigine’. It’s believed to help raise your nitric oxide levels, which would have a positive effect on your muscle pumps.

But we can see that there are no studies that don’t use the patented form of this ingredient. We personally prefer studies to use unbranded nutrients to show that they’re 100% unbias (we’re not saying this particular study is unbiased, this is simply our honest opinion).

From what we’ve seen though, Inositol Stabolized Argiine Silicate seems to be an effective ingredient. So good job by FinaFlex here.

Whole Tart Cherry

We’re surprised that FinaFlex added Tart Cherry into Stimul8 LOADED; it’s not actually been proven to offer any useful benefit to improve your gym session.

For this reason, we don’t believe that it’s a necessary addition to this pre-workout supplement.

So what does it do? Well, Tart Cherry is packed with antioxidans and anthocyanins, which have shown to improve your general health.

So while this might be a good ‘bonus’ addition, it’s not really needed. Personally, we would have preferred to see a key pre-workout nutrient such as Creatine Monohydrate here instead.

Caffeine

Caffeine can be a key addition to any pre-workout when dosed correctly; you’ll know from past experience drinking too many coffees that large dosages of Caffeine can cause jittery side effects.

To avoid this, we always advise that you consume under 200mg Caffeine per serving in pre-workout supplements. This will keep even those with a low tolerance safe from side effects.

Now, a slight problem we personally have with Stimul8 LOADED, is that FinaFlex has added a huge 300mg Caffeine dosage; those very tolerant to Caffeine (who drink 4-5 cups black coffee per day) might benefit from this, but we would be afraid of jitters and energy crashes here.

Clearly this is our honest opinion, and it does depend on your tolerance to Caffeine.

elevATP

In case you’re wondering, this is a patented mixture of ancient peat and apple extract. After doing some research about this ingredient, we found that it’s marketed to boost your ATP levels (like how Creatine Monohydrate works).

Personally, we couldn’t find many studies on this ingredient, so we don’t consider it to be the most reliable ingredient – in our honest opinion.

But if it does work, then it’ll be a great ‘bonus’ addition to Stimul8 LOADED.

Theacrine

Theacrine is another stimulant that’s believed to deliver the same effects as Caffeine (energy boosts). Now, we can’t really complain, as this product is called Stimul8 LOADED, so it’s obviously not aimed at those looking for low dosages of stimulants.

FinaFlex has certainly made this pre-workout live-up-to it’s name; Theacrine does increase the risk of jittery side effects to those with a low tolerance to stimulants, but in fairness, they shouldn’t be touching a product called Stimul8 LOADED, right?

So for those that drink countless cups of coffee on the regular and need bigger dosages of stimulants to give them a ‘kick’, Theacrine is a good addition alongside Caffeine here.

Huperzia Serrata

If you know about supplements, then you’ll have most commonly seen this in nootropic supplements. This is because studies have shown that Huperzia Serrata has a positive effect on your cognition, due to containing Huperzine A.

We can see why FinaFlex has added this into Stimul8 LOADED, as an increase in focus can help improve your gym session. But personally, we feel that the boost in cognition you receive from Caffeine is enough to benefit your training with pre-workouts.

Not only that, some believe that Huperzine A can be responsible for causing unwanted side effects, such as diarrhea and nausea.

Side Effects

There are a few things that can cause side effects in Stimul8 LOADED; Beta-Alanine can cause itchy & tingly skin, Betaine can cause fishy body odor, Huperzia Serrata may cause diarrhea among other side effects, and the huge amount of stimulants can cause jitters to those sensitive.

But as we mentioned before, Stimul8 LOADED definitely isn’t a pre-workout for those with a low tolerance to Caffeine, as its name suggests.

Here’s the potential side effects from taking Stimul8 LOADED:

  • Itchy & Tingly Skin (Beta-Alanine)
  • Fishy Odors In Breath & Sweat (Betaine)
  • Diarrhea (Huperzia Serrata)
  • Nausea (Huperzia Serrata)
  • Jitters (Huge amount of Caffeine)

Stimul8 LOADED Review Conclusion

Overall, it’s easy to see why FinaFlex are a well-respected supplements company. Stimul8 LOADED is another good pre-workout that certainly has a place on the market.

In fact, it’s perfect for those with an extremely high tolerance to stimulants, as its name suggests. But those with a low tolerance to Caffeine shouldn’t go anywhere near this pre-workout.

For the right person, Stimul8 LOADED will really give you that energy boost you need. For us personally, there is wayyy too much Caffeine in this pre-workout, which would be very likely to cause us jittery side effects (in our honest opinion).
