About The Product

Omega Cuts is a fat burner supplement made by PMD Sports (formally known as NDS Nutritionals). It costs $80.74 for 30 serving containers on GNC, with a serving size of 2 capsules per day.

We prefer fat burners with serving sizes of 3-4 daily; this keeps your body topped up with key ingredients needed to boost your fat burning potential and lose more body fat. For this reason, Omega Cuts doesn’t have a great serving size.

Who are PMD Sports?

PMD Sports are a supplements company that were founded in 2002. They offer a range of supplements, such as Methyl Andro Hardcore (which is their test booster that we’ve also reviewed).

On GNC.com, this company are known as NDS Nutrionals – so we’re assuming that this company were bought by PMD Sports, or this company has been rebranded completely. Anyway, let’s see what ingredients are inside Omega Cuts.

Omega Cuts Ingredients Explained

From first glance, we weren’t impressed; Omega Cuts contains 2 proprietary blends, which we always try to avoid (we’ll expand on this just below).

WHAT’S A PROPRIETARY BLEND?

Proprietary blends are mixtures of numerous ingredients that’re shown to you under 1 quantity. The problem is, you’re not shown to dosages of each ingredient inside these blends – meaning it’s hard to know exactly how effective the supplement is, or whether it’ll cause any side effects.

Not only that, companies use proprietary blends to cut costs and make more profit; think about it, if they can lower the dosages of ingredients without you knowing, they’re saving themselves cash here.

For these reasons, we try to avoid any supplement containing these blends – you should know exactly what you’re putting into your body to stay safe and get the best value for money.

Anyway, we’ve analyzed each ingredient inside Omega Cuts – to show you how good this fat burner really is. nds-nutritional-products-omega-cuts-ingredient-list-review

Here’s Everything You Need To Know:

MCT

Also known as Medium Chain Triglycerides, this is the fatty acid found inside coconut oil. It’s believed to promote fat loss, but studies have shown to that only offers minimal benefits – not only that, MCT’s only shown to work in dosages between 10g-15g (as it’s part of a proprietary blend, you’ll never know how effective this ingredient really is).

Lauric Acid

This is another fatty acid found in coconut oil; all you need to know about this ingredient, is that it hasn’t shown to help you shred body fat in any studies. But the worst thing is, as it’s part of a proprietary blend, it might be filling most of Omega Cuts without you knowing (which would make it mostly ineffective).

Ultimately, this is a great example of why you should avoid fat burners containing proprietary blends.

Myristic Acid, Caprylic Acid, Oleic Acid, Capric Acid & Linoleic Acid

We’ve grouped these ingredients together, as they’re also fatty acids found inside coconut oil. Unfortunately, none of them have shown to promote fat loss at all – making them ineffective in Omega Cuts.

It’s worrying that only 1 ingredient inside this ‘Muscle Sparing Blend’ has shown to actually promote fat loss (not good, considering Omega Cuts claims to help you get that 6 pack you always wanted…).

Let’s hope there’s better things to come in the next proprietary blend below.

CLA

Also known as Conjugated Linoleic Acid, this is quite well-known, even to those not experienced in the supplements industry. It also marks the first ingredient inside the ‘Muscle Toning Blend’, but in the same way that Rasberry Ketones has been proven to be ineffective, CLA also has been exposed recently.

Simply put, CLA hasn’t shown to promote fat loss significantly in any studies conducted. However, it’s not completely useless like Raspberry Ketones; through the same studies, we’ve found that CLA can help you maintain muscle mass while cutting calories – which is a good benefit.

While this isn’t one of our favorite fat burning ingredients found in these supplements, at least it’s not useless; in fact, it’s actually the best ingredient in Omega Cuts by PMD Sports, Unfortunately, there are many ingredients proven to help you shred body fat better than CLA.

GLA

Otherwise known as Gamma Linolenic Acid, it’s the fatty acid most commonly found in vegetable oil. However, while it’s shown to help treat eczema and breast pain – it’s not shown to promote fat loss in any studies.

For this reason, GLA is an ineffective ingredient in Omega Cuts.

ALA, DPA & EHA

As you’ve probably guessed by now, these 3 ingredients are also fatty acids – we’ve grouped them together here, to save you time reading this review. Anyway, all you need to know that none of them have shown to promote fat loss in any studies (making them ineffective).

Side Effects

The good news about Omega Cuts, is that none of the ingredients inside this fat burner have shown to cause any side effects. However, all supplements containing proprietary blends can put you in danger (anything can be bad in large quantities).

A diet that contains high amounts of fatty acids can cause side effects such as:

  • High Blood Pressure
  • Fatty Liver
  • Nausea
  • Diarrhea
  • Fatigue

As Omega Cuts is made up completely of fatty acids, you might find yourself experiencing these side effects with long term usage.

Omega Cuts Review Conclusion

For a product sold as a ‘fat burner’, Omega Cuts doesn’t contain many ingredients to actually help you burn fat – only CLA has shown to be beneficial (it can help you retain muscle while cutting calories).

For us, the worst things about Omega Cuts, is that it’s missing every key fat burning ingredient proven to promote fat loss; as well as this, it contains 2 proprietary blends, which are never a good addition to fat burners.

In our honest opinion, Omega Cuts seems to be a gimmick – PMD Sports have relied to an ingredient list made up from fatty acids to help you shred fat. However, the fatty acids inside this fat burner haven’t proven to actually work.
