About The Product

Vialus is a testosterone booster supplement made by Nutratech. It costs $57.99 for 30 serving containers, with a serving size of 2 capsules per day; this isn’t the best serving size, as studies have shown serving sizes of 3-4 capsules daily are the most effective at keeping your body fuelled in T-Boosting mode.

From first glance, we’re happy to see that Nutratech has added ingredients capable of boosting your testosterone levels, such as Mucuna Pruriens. However, there are also some negatives in our honest opinion, such as the inclusion of Yohimbe Bark Extract in Vialus.

Anyway, we’ll expand on this in the next section, where we’ll analyze Vialus’ nutrient profile for you. But first, let’s find out more about the company behind it.

Who are Vialus?

They seem to be a USA-based supplements company, although we can’t confirm this as they didn’t have an ‘about us’ page on their website.

In fact, apart from the company being called Nutratech Health LLC, we didn’t find out much else about Nutratech. They do offer a large variety of supplements though.

But you’re here to learn more about Vialus. So let’s see which ingredients have been added inside below…

Vialus Ingredients Explained

Our first impressions of Vialus aren’t great. This is because every single ingredient in Nutratech’s ingredients list has been added into a proprietary blend (we’ll expand on this below).

PROPRIETARY BLEND WARNING…
Proprietary blends are mixtures of numerous ingredients that’re only shown to you as 1 quantity. As you can see from the ‘Proprietary Formula’ on Vialus’s ingredients list, the overall amount is 1,560mg – but you’re not shown the dosages of each ingredient inside such as Yohimbe Bark Extract.

This increases your risk of side effects, and also makes it uncertain whether this testosterone booster will work. For this reason, we try to avoid any supplement that contains proprietary blends.

Right, so now that you know the main reason why our first impressions are bad. We’ll now mention the positives; we’re happy to see that Nutratech has added Mucuna Pruriens, as there has been promising studies to show it can boost your T levels.

We’ll explain this and more as we take you through each ingredient in Vialus. By the end of this review, you’ll have a good idea of how safe and effective this testosterone booster really is.

Nutratech Vialus Test Booster Supplement Facts.

Here’s Everything You Need To Know:

Horny Goat Weed Extract

Also known as Epimedium, this herb is believed to raise your libido. But while it’s shown promising signs of boosting testosterone in animals, it’s not had the same results in human trials.

For this reason, we don’t consider Horny Goat Weed to be a reliable addition to Vialus here. Instead, we would have much preferred to see something tried-and-tested at raising your T such as Vitamin D3 in an optimal 5,000IU dosage.

Maca Root Extract

Maca is vegetable that’s shown to be capable of raising your libido. It’s for this reason that many have used Maca Root as an aphrodisiac in the past.

While it’s not shown to have any effect on your testosterone levels, as it’s quite reliable at improving your libido, we consider Maca to be a useful ‘bonus’ ingredient when added to test booster supplements such as Vialus.

Mucuna Pruriens

Also known as ‘velvet bean’, Mucuna Pruriens has shown to contain high amounts of L-Dopa; this has shown to have positive effects to your testosterone and human growth hormone levels in studies.

But the problem we personally have, is that Mucuna Pruriens is most reliable when consumed in dosages of 300mg or higher. As it’s part of a proprietary blend in Vialus, you can’t be sure whether it’s actually going to work here.

Ultimately, this is a great example of why we try to avoid supplements containing proprietary blends. It’s much more beneficial to know the exact amounts of ingredients you’re putting into your body – to stay safe and know you’re getting the best value for your money.

Polypodium Vulgare

We’re not quite sure why Nutratech has added Polypodium Vulgare into Vialus, and it’s the first time we’ve seen this ingredient added to any supplement.

In case you’re wondering, Polypodium Vulgare is basically a fern that’s known to grow in shaded habitats. But it’s also believed to be a diuretic and laxative; this means that it can cause dehydration if you don’t increase your water intake adequately.

Usually, companies add diuretics in fat burners to try and fool you into thinking you’re losing body fat, when really it’s just water weight. So in our honest opinion, Nutratech might have added Polypodium Vulgare to make you believe losing weight is part of increasing your testosterone levels.

While losing stubborn fat around your belly is a benefit of having higher testosterone levels, Polypodium Vulgare won’t help you achieve this benefit. And if you’re main aim is to lose body fat, then a fat burner supplement will be more effective for you anyway.

Yohimbe Bark Extract

Yohimbe Bark Extract is the worst ingredient in Vialus, in our honest opinion; it’s been reported to cause numerous side effects and it’s main function is to promote fat loss (which isn’t a key reason you’d buy a testosterone booster supplement).

As we mentioned just before, if you’re main aim is to lose body fat, then a fat burner supplement will be much more useful to you.

For this reason, we always advise that you avoid supplements containing Yohimbe Bark Extract anyway. There’s simply no need to risk consuming potentially harmful ingredients when there are perfectly safe and effective ingredients and products on the market.

We would have much preferred to see Yohimbe Bark Extract replaced by a proven T-Boosting nutrient such as Vitamin D3 in Vialus.

Saw Palmetto Extract

The extract from the fruit of Saw Palmetto is believed to be able to raise your testosterone levels. However, recent research has shown that it’s not able to deliver this benefit.

That doesn’t mean it’s useless though; Saw Palmetto Extract has shown promising signs of being able to suppress prostate growth.

But as Vialus (thankfully) doesn’t contain any ingredients capable of causing prostate enlargement, such as Tribulus Terrestris, there’s no need for it here.

Muira Puama

Naturally found in Brazil, Muira Puama is believed to reduce stress levels and boost your cognition. However, if this is your main aim, then a nootropic supplement will be a better option for you.

As Muira Puama hasn’t shown to have any effect on your testosterone levels, we don’t consider it to be a necessary addition to Vialus here.

Arginine

Arginine is another ingredient that we don’t consider necessary in Vialus; it’s able to raise your nitric oxide level in your body, but it has a poor absorption rate when orally consumed.

If you’re looking to raise your nitric oxide levels, then we recommend consuming pre-workout supplements containing Citrulline Malate. But Arginine has no effect on your testosterone levels.

Panax Ginseng

Finally, an ingredient able to positively affect your testosterone levels! Also known as ‘Red Asian Panax Ginseng’, this herb has shown very promising signs when it comes to boosting your T levels.

As a result, we consider Panax Ginseng to be a key addition to any test booster supplement out there. So good choice of ingredient by Nutratech here.

But one problem we have is that Panax Ginseng is part of a proprietary blend; this means that you don’t know the exact amount contained in Vialus, so it might not be effective here.

Again, this is another example of why we try to avoid supplements containing proprietary blends. It’s much better to know exactly what you’re putting in your body, to stay safe and ensure you’re getting the best results.

Side Effects

In terms of side effects, only 1 ingredient concerns us in Vialus; Yohimbe Bark Extract has been reported to cause numerous side effects and the US Department of Health and Human Services has mentioned it’s potentially unsafe too…

Here’s what the US Department of Health and Human Services report about Yohimbe:

  • Yohimbe has been associated with heart attacks and seizures.
  • Yohimbe caused stomach problems, tachycardia (a rapid heartbeat), anxiety, and high blood pressure, according to a study comparing calls about yohimbe and other substances made to the California Poison Control System between 2000 and 2006. People calling about yohimbe were generally more likely to need medical care than other callers.

You can the source of this information this page: https://nccih.nih.gov/health/yohimbe. For this reason, it’s easy to see why we advise you to avoid supplements containing Yohimbe.

Here’s the potential side effects from taking Vialus:

  • Nausea (Yohimbe Bark Extract)
  • High Blood Pressure (Yohimbe Bark Extract)
  • Rapid Heartbeat (Yohimbe Bark Extract)
  • Anxiety (Yohimbe Bark Extract)
  • Dehydration (Polypodium Vulgare)

Most Effective Test Booster Ingredients

As this Vialus review is quite negative, we don’t want to seem like we’re criticizing it without any evidence to back up our claims. For this reason, we’re giving you a quick overview of what you should be looking for on your search for the best testosterone booster.

Simply put, the best T-Boosters deliver these benefits:

  • Increased Testosterone Production
  • Enhanced Libido
  • Pack on Lean Muscle Faster

We strongly believe that these are the 3 key benefits of purchasing taking these supplements – why else would you buy one?

Personally, these are the main reasons why we tried numerous testosterone boosters – before finally finding our top 3 favorite products. The reason why it took almost 20 years to find a test booster that actually works, is because there’s so much sh*t on the market – it was like trying to find the best grain of sand in a beach.

Anyway, especially after starting to work in the supplements industry, we noticed that there were key ingredients to look for in these supplements…

Here are the ingredients proven to raise testosterone levels:

  • Vitamin D3 – This is technically a hormone that’s proven to be safe and reliable. This is how good it is: Doctors believe if you’re going to choose just one ingredient to benefit your overall health, then Vitamin D3 is the best option. What’s even better, is that it’s shown to significantly increase testosterone levels in numerous studies. One thing to remember; make sure to consume the optimal dosage (at least 3,332IU per serving).
  • D-Aspartic Acid – DAA  is very important, as it helps to regulate your testosterone levels. For this reason, giving your body a helping hand by supplementing between 2,000mg-3,000mg can really give you that ‘kick’ of testosterone that you need as you get older. DAA is one of our favorite ingredients, and deserves a place on this list.
  • Fenugreek – This herb has been used in ayurveda (traditional Indian) medicine for centuries. So what does it do? Well, it’s proven to boost libido and testosterone levels in numerous studies. The best thing about Fenugreek, is that it’s effective in dosages as small as 50mg (meaning Frenugreek’s a reliable addition to any T-Booster that you don’t need in huge amounts).

Vialus Review Conclusion

In our honest opinion, Nutratech have made a rookie mistake by adding every ingredient in Vialus into a big proprietary blend; customers are doing more research than before and realizing that knowing the exact dosages of each ingredient ensures they get a better deal and results.

For this reason, proprietary blends are something that companies need to phase out of their supplements and stop using in the future.

But there are some positives for Vialus too. We’re happy to see that Nutratech have done some research and have added Mucuna Pruriens, which is has shown to be capable of boosting your testosterone levels.
