About The Product

Advanced Intensify Black is a fat burner supplement made by NDS Nutrition. It costs $85.49 on GNC.com for 45 serving containers and comes in a serving size of 2 capsules per day.

While 45 servings might seem like a great deal, the problem is with Advanced Intensify Black’s daily serving size; studies show that 3-4 capsules spread throughout the day is better at keeping your body fuelled in fat burning mode.

From first glance, we’re glad to see key fat burning nutrients such as Green Tea Extract and Green Coffee Bean Extract in Advanced Intensify Black. However, we’re also concerned that this fat burner also contains potentially harmful ingredients including Citrus Aurantium Extract (Bitter Orange Extract).

Anyway, we’ll expand on this as we analyze Advanced Intensify Black’s nutrient profile in the next section. But first, we’ll tell you more about the company behind it.

Who are NDS Nutrition?

NDS Nutrition are a supplements company based in the USA. They market a range of products from testosterone boosters to fat burners such as Advanced Intensify Black, which is always a good thing.

We mainly see their supplements on GNC, where they seem to sell extremely well. So this is why we’re always interested to see how they beat and manage to sell more than the bigger brands,

But you’re here to learn more about Advanced Intensitf Black, so let’s see which ingredients have been added below…

Advanced Intensify Black Ingredients Explained

Just by looking at Advanced Intensify Black’s ingredients list, you can see that it’s been packed with too many ingredients; it’s simply not necessary to add more than 10 ingredients to any product in our honest opinion, and we find that products containing more nutrients are usually under-dosed to fit within budget.

Not only that, every ingredient in Advanced Intensify Black has been added to a proprietary blend (we’ll expand on this below).

PROPRIETARY BLEND WARNING…

Proprietary blends are mixtures of numerous ingredients that’re only shown to you as 1 quantity. As you can see from the ‘Intensify Black Proprietary Blend’ on Advanced Intensify Black’s ingredients list, the overall amount is 930mg – but you’re not shown the dosages of each ingredient inside such as Caffeine Anhydrous.

This increases your risk of side effects, and also makes it uncertain whether this fat burner will work. For this reason, we try to avoid any supplement that contains proprietary blends.

Now that we’ve told you what we believe to be wrong with Advanced Intensify Black (in our honest opinion), we’ll point out that there are many positives too.

In fact, we’re especially happy to see that NDS Nutrition has added key fat burning nutrients such as Green Tea Extract and Green Coffee Bean Extract to Advanced Intensify Black.

We’ll explain things in more detail as we take you through each ingredient in Advanced Intensify Black. By the end of this review, you’ll have a good idea of how safe and effective this fat burner really is.

Here’s Everything You Need To Know:

Caffeine Anhydrous

Caffeine Anhydrous is the best stimulant when it comes to raising your energy levels. It’s also the safest, due to being a pure form of caffeine; ‘Anhydrous’ simply means that it’s been dehydrated into powder form so it can be added to supplements.

Why is this good? Well, it allows you to keep an eye on your exact caffeine intake, providing your shown the exact dosage of Caffeine Anhydrous in Advanced Intensify Black.

The problem is that Caffeine Anhydrous has been added to a proprietary blend, so you’re not actually shown how much is inside. Ultimately, this means that you’re at an increasing risk of suffering from jittery side effects – not a good thing.

For this reason, we personally believe that companies shouldn’t add these blends, or add unknown quantities of Caffeine Anhydrous (or any other stimulant) into their products, in our honest opinion.

Green Tea Extract

Everyone knows that Green Tea is good for you, which is why more and more people have started to drink Green Tea as part of their diet.

But one thing you might not have known, is that Green Tea Extract is a key player that can help boost your metabolism and promote fat loss; this is because Green Tea Extract contains high amounts of catechins (especially EGCG), making this nutrient one of the best thermogenics available.

Now, studies have shown that you need at least 500mg for Green Tea Extract to work. So as you can see, the main issue is that this nutrient is part of a proprietary blend, so you don’t know for sure the exact amount inside.

The overall quantity of the proprietary blend is 930mg. Considering that there are over 20 nutrients inside this blend, it seems highly unlikely for there to be an optimal 500mg dosage of Green Tea Extract contained in Advanced Intensify Black.

Ultimately, this should highlight the issue we have with proprietary blends, and why it’s important for companies to ensure they dose key ingredients effectively.

Overload of Stimulants

We’ve already mentioned that Caffeine Anhydrous has been added to the proprietary blend in Advanced Intensify Black. Well, you might be worried to hear that Guarana Seed Extract, Theobromine and Theacrine are also stimulants.

Basically, having more than 1 stimulant in a fat burner simply isn’t necessary; adding under 100mg Caffeine Anhydrous per capsule is all that’s necessary to keep your energy levels topped-up while you cut your calories.

Ultimately, having more than 1 stimulant in unknown quantities increases your risk of jittery side effects. So we always advise that you know the exact amount of stimulants you consume to stay safe from side effects.

Citrus Aurantium Extract

This is the ingredient that we warned you about at the start. Also known as ‘Bitter Orange Extract’, this has been reported to cause numerous side effects, which is why we personally try to avoid it.

So why do companies add it? Well, we’ll acknowledge that it has shown to slightly promote fat loss, which is the reason why it’s added to some fat burner supplements.

But as there are safe and effective nutrients such as Green Tea Extract available, there’s no need to risk your health with potentially harmful nutrients such as Citrus Aurantium Extract.

L-Carnitine

L-Carnitine is one of the better ingredients in Advanced Intensify Black; it’s shown to help reduce muscular fatigue and damage, while also improving your focus in the gym too.

As a result, we consider L-Carnitine to be a great addition to any pre-workout supplement. But remember that Advanced Intensify Black is a fat burner.

Ultimately, L-Carnitine isn’t as effective at promoting fat loss as key nutrients such as Green Tea Extract, so we don’t consider this to be a necessary addition to Advanced Intensify Black here (although it makes a useful ‘bonus’ addition).

Cinnamon Bark Extract

This is the same stuff that’s in cinnamon rolls to give it its taste. Very tasty stuff, but it might be more useful than that.

Basically, Cinnamon Bark Extract has shown promising results in studies and might be able to block carbs; this would stop blood spikes from happening, allowing your body to stay in fat burning mode for longer.

But here’s the bad news; Cinnamon Bark Extract has a toxicity level, so it’s not a great idea to supplement it. Instead, to incorporate this into your diet, it’s a much better idea to simply add cinnamon to some foods to stay safe.

L-Theanine

L-Theanine is another great addition to pre-workout supplements, as it can work in synergy with Caffeine Anhydrous to form a ‘smart-caffeine’; this boosts your focus and the effects of caffeine in smaller dosages, keeping you safe from side effects.

We believe that L-Theanine has been added to Advanced Intensify Black, due to the overload of stimulants in this fat burner. But the bad news is that L-Theanine only works when consumed in higher dosages than stimulants.

Now, as L-Theanine is part of a proprietary blend, you don’t know the exact amount in Advanced Intensify Black. But as there’s over 3 stimulants in Advanced Intensify Black, there’s  not likely to be a bigger dosage of L-Theanine in this fat burner.

For this reason, we don’t believe L-Theanine will be effective in Advanced Intensify Black, in our honest opinion.

Alpha Lipoic Acid

More commonly known as ALA; this is a fatty acid that’s believed to help you lose fat and increase your energy levels. But the truth is that ALA hasn’t proven to be reliable in clinical studies conducted on it.

Not only that, the studies where it actually worked included dosages up to 600mg per serving. As we’ve mentioned, the total of all the ingredients in Advanced Intensify Black add up to just 930mg, so it’s highly unlikely for there to be an effective dosage of ALA in Advanced Intensify Black.

For this reason, we consider ALA to be a highly unreliable nutrient that’s not likely to work in Advanced Intensify Black, in our honest opinion.

Rest of the Ingredients in Advanced Intensify Black

We’ve been sat here for a while writing this review now. And my wife is calling for dinner, and I’m hungry as f*ck, so let’s cut the BS and get straight to the point.

From now on, i’ll give you a quick summary of the rest of the ingredients, otherwise i’ll be here all day writing and you’ll be reading forever.

So, while there’s many ingredients left to analyze in Advanced Intensify Black, the only notable ones are Rhodiola Rosea and L-Tyrosine; these are both ‘brain boosters’ and are more suited to nootropic supplements, but Rhodiola Rosea can also be useful in pre-workouts due to being capable of reducing muscular fatigue too.

Side Effects

The main concern we have with Advanced Intensify Black, is that it contains numerous stimulants in unknown quantities, due to them being part of a proprietary blend. This increases your risk of side effects (jitters and energy crashes); this is why we always advise that you know the exact amount of stimulants you consume – to stay safe.

Not only that, Advanced Intensify Black contains Citrus Aurantium too (Bitter Orange Extract); this has been reported to cause a variety of side effects including nausea and anxiety. In fact, even the U.S Department of Health & Human Services has pointed this out here: https://nccih.nih.gov/health/bitterorange

Here’s the potential side effects from taking Advanced Intensify Black:

  • Jitters (Overload of Stimulants)
  • Energy Crashes (Overload of Stimulants)
  • Nausea (Citrus Aurantium Extract)
  • Anxiety (Citrus Aurantium Extract)
  • High Blood Pressure (Citrus Aurantium Extract)
  • Rapid Heartbeat (Citrus Aurantium Extract)

Advanced Intensify Black Review Conclusion

It’s clear to see that NDS Nutrition have tried very hard to create a good supplement here. And Advanced Intensify Black is a respectable addition to the fat burner market.

However, there are some thing that we personally don’t agree with; this includes the use of proprietary blends, and adding numerous stimulants in unknown quantities, which can cause side effects.

Also, Citrus Aurantium Extract is beginning to gain a negative reputation after being reported to cause numerous side effects. So this is one ingredient that we prefer to avoid, in our honest opinion.
