About The Product

As you've probably guessed, Test Booster is a testosterone booster supplement made by Max Effort Muscle. It costs $34.99 for 42 servings, making it one of the lower priced products on the market, released in 2017.

However, what we usually see with lower priced test boosters, is that the ingredients aren't usually the best or they've not been optimally dosed.

We'll be analyzing Max Effort Muscle Test Booster, to see whether it's worth trying out. But first, we'll tell you more about the company behind it.

Who are Max Effort Muscle?

There's a chance that you haven't heard of Max Effort Muscle before, because it's quite a new company to the industry.

Founded by the co-founder of MusclePharm, Cory Gregory set out to build another big name in supplements.

However, we didn't find out much more about the company on their website; their 'about us' section simply talks about the fictional character 'Max' that the brand is built on.

Anyway, it's easy to see that Max Effort Muscle have gone for the 'retro' look on their supplements. But let's see whether their Test Booster can keep up with the already established products on the market.

Max Effort Muscle Test Booster Ingredients Explained

Our first impressions of Max Effort Muscle Test Booster are quite mixed.

We're confused as to why it contains a fat burning nutrient, Cayenne Pepper Powder; an increase in testosterone will encourage your body to shred more fat, so this isn't needed in a testosterone booster supplement.

Also, Rhodiola Rosea is a useful ingredient in pre-workout supplements, as it's able to reduce fatigue and boost your focus. However, again, these benefits aren't needed in Max Muscle Effort Test Booster either.

Ultimately, we would have preferred Max Muscle Effort Test Booster to contain tried-and-tested nutrients such as Vitamin D3. But we'll still take you through each ingredient inside this product.

By the end, you'll know how effective this supplement really is - and whether it's worth trying out.

Here's Everything You Need To Know:

Pro-Tribulus 400 & Tribulus Terrestris

This is basically a patented form of Tribulus Terrestris. We're not sure why Max Muscle Effort has added both 'Pro-Tribulus 400' as well as the unpatented version too (there's no need for both).

Basically, they should have simply increased the dosage of one of the forms of Tribulus Terrestris. But to be honest, we would have left this ingredient out altogether.

Why? Because Tribulus Terrestris has shown to cause your prostate weight to increase.

You can imagine that this can lead to serious male health issues in the future. So it's something we'd rather avoid.

Not only that, Tribulus Terrestris hasn't actually shown to boost your testosterone levels in any study. The only thing it does is improve your libido, which in all fairness is still beneficial in Max Effort Muscle Test Booster.

For this reason, we acknowledge that it raises your libido, but personally, we don't want to risk its side effect.

Rhodiola Rosea

Rhodiola Rosea is a useful nutrient to have in a pre-workout supplement. However, it's main benefits are reducing muscular fatigue and improving your focus; these aren't necessary in a testosterone booster, and a natural raise in test levels will result in this anyway.

Ultimately, we'd rather have ingredients that have shown to boost your testosterone levels in a test booster supplement. So while Rhodiola Rosea is a key nutrient in pre-workout supplements, we don't believe it's needed in Max Effort Muscle Test Booster.

Longjack Extract

Also known as Eurycoma Longifolia, this has been believed to be an aphrodisiac for decades.

Modern studies have backed this belief, as they've shown that Longjack is able to raise your libido and strengthen your erections.

However, the bad news is that Longjack Extract hasn't proven to raise your testosterone levels. Ultimately, this is the main aim when buying a testosterone booster supplement, but we still acknowledge that Longjack Extract is a useful addition to Max Effort Muscle.

Cayenne Pepper Extract

You might have consumed this chilli pepper before, and everyone knows how hot it can be.

Basically, it raises your body temperature and makes you sweat; this is exactly how it works to boost your metabolism and promote fat loss.

For this reason, it's a key addition to any fat burner supplement. However, it's not necessary in Max Effort Muscle Test Booster, as it's not able to raise your testosterone levels.

Ultimately, if you're main aim is to lose body fat, then a fat burner supplement will be more beneficial for you. But in a test booster supplement, we'd rather see nutrients such as Vitamin D3, which has proven to raise your T levels.

Quebracho

We're interested by this ingredient, as it's the first time we've seen it in any supplement before.

After completing some research through our contacts, we found that Quebracho is a tree that grows in South American countries such as Argentina, Brazil & Paraguay.

We also found that it's believed to contain high amounts of tannin; while this can improve your general health, it's not reliable at boosting your testosterone levels.

Again, we'll repeat that we wish Max Effort Muscle had added a more reliable nutrient, such as Vitamin D3.

Most Effective Test Booster Ingredients

We don’t want to seem like we’re criticizing Max Effort Muscle Test Booster without any evidence to back up our claims. For this reason, we’re giving you a quick overview of what you should be looking for on your search for the best testosterone booster.

Simply put, the best T-Boosters deliver these benefits:

  • Increased Testosterone Production
  • Enhanced Libido
  • Pack on Lean Muscle Faster

We strongly believe that these are the 3 key benefits of purchasing taking these supplements – why else would you buy one?

Personally, these are the main reasons why we tried numerous testosterone boosters – before finally finding our top 3 favorite products. The reason why it took almost 20 years to find a test booster that actually works, is because there’s so much sh*t on the market – it was like trying to find the best grain of sand in a beach.

Anyway, especially after starting to work in the supplements industry, we noticed that there were key ingredients to look for in these supplements…

Here are the ingredients proven to raise testosterone levels:

  • Vitamin D3 – This is technically a hormone that’s proven to be safe and reliable. This is how good it is: Doctors believe if you’re going to choose just one ingredient to benefit your overall health, then Vitamin D3 is the best option. What’s even better, is that it’s shown to significantly increase testosterone levels in numerous studies. One thing to remember; make sure to consume the optimal dosage (at least 3,332IU per serving).
  • D-Aspartic Acid – DAA  is very important, as it helps to regulate your testosterone levels. For this reason, giving your body a helping hand by supplementing between 2,000mg-3,000mg can really give you that ‘kick’ of testosterone that you need as you get older. DAA is one of our favorite ingredients, and deserves a place on this list.
  • Fenugreek – This herb has been used in ayurveda (traditional Indian) medicine for centuries. So what does it do? Well, it’s proven to boost libido and testosterone levels in numerous studies. The best thing about Fenugreek, is that it’s effective in dosages as small as 50mg (meaning Frenugreek’s a reliable addition to any T-Booster that you don’t need in huge amounts).
  • Asian Red Panax Ginseng – This is not often seen on ingredient lists of testosterone boosters – it’s not well known, and we know that companies prefer to add more ‘reputable’ ingredients such as Tribulus Terrestris (but Tribulus Terestris has shown to be ineffective in numerous studies). This is where Asian Red Panax Ginseng comes in; it’s proven to have a positive effect on your T-Levels, and even your general health (making it an all-round great ingredient).

    Side Effects

Although the majority of Max Effort Muscle Test Booster's ingredients are safe, there's 2 that can cause a side effect; Pro Tribulus 400 and Tribulus Terrestris.

First of all, we're not sure why Max Effort Muscle have added 2 different forms of the same ingredient. Secondly, Tribulus Terrestris has been reported to cause an increase in weight of your prostate.

This can lead to serious male health issues, so we try to avoid Tribulus Terrestris in supplements.

Here's the potential side effects from taking Max Effort Muscle Test Booster:

    • Increase in prostate weight (Tribulus Terrestris)

Max Effort Muscle Test Booster Review Conclusion

We're a bit confused about this supplement and don't understand why Max Effort Muscle Test Booster contains a fat burning nutrient (Cayenne Pepper Powder).

As we've mentioned, if your main aim is to shred unwanted body fat, then you'll benefited more by taking a fat burner supplement.

Ultimately, while Max Effort Muscle Test Booster contains ingredients that can raise your libido - it's not likely to raise your testosterone levels.

Max Effort Muscle Test Booster Review

    Summary

Max Effort Muscle Test Booster doesn’t contain any ingredients that’re reliable at raising your T levels. But it seems likely to boost your libido.

Even then, we personally wouldn’t choose this over the best fat burners available right now.
