About The Product

TESTEX is a testosterone booster made by BPI Sports. It costs $89.99 for 60 servings on GNC.com, which makes it one of the most expensive test boosters weve reviewed.

How to Take

The instructions on the box of TESTEX state you should consume 1 capsule per day - which isnt a great serving size at all.

In fact, we believe that serving sizes of 3-4 capsules daily is the best; this keeps your body topped up with key testosterone boosting ingredients throughout your day(to provide the best results).

Only consuming 1 capsule will give your body some fuel for a couple of hours, then leave it with no further benefits for most of your day (meaning you might be wasting your cash).

Anyway, well tell you about the company behind TESTEX, before analyzing its nutrient profile in the next section.

Who are BPI Sports?

BPI Sports are a UK-based supplements company (theyre registered in Bury, England). If you dont know where that is; Bury is near Manchester…

Anyway, this sports nutrition brand are well-known in the UK - they sponsor some of the greatest bodybuilders, such as Jay Cutler and fitness models like Courtney King and Savanah Prez.

For this reason, we always have huge expectations when they market a product. Weve reviewed some of the best test boosters in the industry, so were looking forward to seeing how TESTEX compares to them.

Find out below…

TESTEX Ingredients Explained

The reason why we chose TESTEX to review, was because it contains a great dosage of Vitamin D3 (which is our favorite ingredient proven to boost test levels). This shows that BPI Sports did some research when putting this product together.

However, were disappointed to see that BPI Sports have left some other key test boosting ingredients out of TESTEX; ultiamtely, this leaves us with mixed first opinions.

Not only that, were not happy to see that TESTEX contains a proprietary blend. Well explain what these blends are, and why theyre bad below…

Proprietary blends are mixtures of numerous ingredients thatre only shown to you as 1 quantity. As you can see from the TESTEX Blend on its ingredient list, the overall amount is 510mg - but youre not shown the dosages of each ingredient inside such as Stinging Nettle Root Extract.

This increases your risk of side effects, and also makes it uncertain whether this test booster will work (which also puts you at risk of wasting your cash).

For this reason, we try to avoid any supplement that contains proprietary blends.

Its important for you to know that risks that proprietary blends come with. So now you know, well get to the main event.

In this section, well use our expertise to analyze each ingredient inside TESTEX - so you can see how effective this testosterone booster supplement really is.

Heres Everything You Need To Know:

Vitamin D3

As we mentioned at the start of this section; Technically a hormone, Vitamin D3 is our favorite test boosting ingredient for one reason - it works.

In fact, countless studies have proven that it raises your testosterone levels when consumed in dosages above 3,332IU per serving.

In our experience, 5,000IU per serving is more than enough. However, BPI Sports has played it very safe here - adding a HUGE 10,000IU of Vitamin D3 in TESTEX.

The good news is this; Vitamin D3 doesnt cause any side effects when consumed in large dosages, so this is completely fine.

A great start by BPI Sports here. Lets see if the other ingredients can prove whether TESTEX is worth buying or not.

Vitamin K2

We dont usually analyze this ingredient in supplements, but as theres not alot in TESTEX, well do this for you once.

Basically, Vitamin K2 is never a key ingredient in gym supplements. Why? Because its not shown to improve your sporting performance, testosterone levels or help you burn fat.

The only benefit Vitamin K2 provides is improving your general health. While this is good, its not the main reason why youd buy a testosterone booster - personally, we buy test boosters to raise our test levels!

But dont get us wrong, it doesnt cause any side effects, so theres no negatives to having Vitamin K2 in TESTEX. Its simply not a key ingredient (which is why we dont usually analyze it for you in reviews).

TESTEX Blend (510mg)

This is the proprietary blend inside TESTEX. So remember that no-one knows the exact dosages of the ingredients inside here.

Anyway, well analyze the ingredients inside this blend below…

Dioscorea Nipponica Makino Extract

If youre wondering what this is; Dioscorea Nipponica Makino Extract is a species of flowering plant.

But dont let this fancy name fool you; it hasnt shown to have any effect on your testosterone levels (meaning its an ineffective ingredient in TESTEX).

Studies have shown that it might combat obesity (in obese people). While this might make it useful in fat burners, it really has no benefit by being inside BPI Sports TESTEX.

Eucommia Extract

Also known as Eucommia bark extract; its been used in traditional Chinese medicine for decades.

Why? Answer: Eucommia extract is believed to reduce blood pressure and promote fat loss.

However, theres no need for ingredients that directly promote fat loss in testosterone boosters (an increase in test levels will naturally lead to this anyway).

Ultimately, wed rather have an ingredient such as Fenugreek Seed Extract instead of Eucommia Extract; Fenugreek Seed Extract has shown to boost both your libido and testosterone levels (making it a key test boosting ingredient).

Stinging Nettle Root Extract

This is the same plant thats known for stinging you after touching it. However, its been used in a wide variety of methods for decades (such as in food and medicine).

Heres why; studies have shown that Stinging Nettle Root Extract can raise your test levels slightly.

But theres a problem - the same studies have shown that you need at least 150mg per serving for it to work. As its contained in a proprietary blend, Stinging Nettle Root Extract might not be contained in TESTEX in an effective dose (which would make it useless).

Its not as good as Vitamin D3 or Fenugreek Seed Extarct, but Stinging Nettle Root is still a positive addition to TESTEX here. But it would be even better if it wasnt inside a proprietary blend.

Cucumis Melo Fruit Extract

Also known as Honeydew Melon and Cantaloupe, this is a fruit  - sorry for stating the obvious…

Anyway, Cucumis Melo Fruit Extract is known for its antioxidant effects and containing many vitamins (such as Vitamins A & C). However, its not shown to raise your testosterone levels in any studies.

Ultimately, this makes this ingredient unnecessary in TESTEX by BPI Sports.

Lipsomal Delivery System (250mg)

This is the second proprietary blend inside TESTEX. You know the drill by now; no-one knows the exact dosage of ingredients inside here.

While this has a fancy name that you might not have heard before - dont be fooled.

Phosphatidylcholine hasnt shown to deliver any benefits in a testosterone booster in any studies (meaning its an ineffective ingredient here).

Again, this hasnt shown to improve your testosterone levels. The only thing it might do is lower your cholesterol levels, but its still not needed in TESTEX.

Side Effects

One of the best things about TESTEX is this; none of the ingredients inside have proven to cause any side effects.

However, it doesnt contain many ingredients (meaning its not likely to boost your testosterone levels either).

TESTEX Review Conclusion

TESTEX by BPI Sports first caught our attention after we saw that it contained a great dosage of Vitamin D3 (youll be surprised by how many test boosters either dont contain Vitamin D3 or seriously under-dose it).

However, it was all downhill after Vitamin D3; apart from Stinging Nettle Root Extract, the rest of the ingredients hadnt shown to raise your testosterone levels.

Not only that, the 1 capsule serving size of TESTEX doesnt make it likely to work either - as we mentioned at the start, 3-4 capsule daily servings has proven to get you the best results.

BPI Sports TESTEX Review

Bottom Line

BPI Sports has done well to dose Vitamin D3 optimally in TESTEX.

However, the rest of its nutrient profile show that its not likely to be worth the HUGE asking price of $89.99.

To put this into perspective, our favorite testosterone booster costs $59.99 (and its a premium product, while TESTEX isnt).
