About The Product

Test 3X SX-7 Black Onyx is a testosterone booster by MuscleTech. It costs $89.99 for 30 serving containers, with a daily serving size of 4 capsules per day – this is a great number of capsules to have per day, and ensures your body is topped up with nutrients needed to increase testosterone levels.

We have to point out how expensive this testosterone booster is; it’s one of the most expensive supplements we’ve ever seen, and costs more than all of our favorite T-Boosters we’ve tried.

But one thing’s for sure: whether you’ll experience a boost in testosterone is determined by the ingredients inside Test 3X SX-7 Black Onyx (we’ll get to this in the next section).

Who are MuscleTech?

Founded in 2008, MuscleTech are a USA-based supplements brand owned by Iovate Health Sciences Inc. They were the first company to release an ‘creatine-carbohydrate-alpha lipoic acid’ product – so they’ve gained a good reputation in the industry.

MuscleTech’s products aren’t usually as expensive as Test 3X SX-7 Black Onyx, which is one of the most expensive testosterone boosters on the market at $89.99. However, they seem to have raised the prices of their products since 2017, as their fat burner (Hydroxycut SX-7 Revolution) is also the same price as this.

We’re expecting big things due to the massive price tag, so we’re hoping to see key testosterone boosters that won’t cause any side effects in Test 3X SX-7 Black Onyx  – read on to find out in the next section.

Test 3X SX-7 Black Onyx Ingredients Explained

Test 3X SX-7 Black Onyx contains 7 main ingredients, which is a good amount to have in a testosterone booster – we prefer quality over quantity, with our favorite T-Boosters containing optimal amounts of effective ingredients.

From first glace, we’re happy that Test 3X SX-7 Black Onyx doesn’t contain any proprietary blends – so we can see the exact dosage of each ingredient inside. This means we can fully analyze MuscleTech’s product in this review.

Anyway, let’s cut the bullsh*t and find out how good this testosterone booster really is.

Here’s Everything You Need To Know:

D-Aspartic Acid

This is one of our favorite testosterone booster ingredients for one reason – it works. Basically, D-Aspartic Acid has shown to increase your T-Levels in dosages of 2,000mg-3,000mg.

Fortunately, as Test 3X SX-7 Black Onyx contains 3.12g (3,120mg), this dosage should be more than enough to deliver its benefit. Good start by MuscleTech – let’s see whether the rest of the ingredients are as good…

Tribulus Terrestris

Tribulus is one of the most well-known ingredients in the supplements industry – almost everyone has heard of it, and it’s believed to improve your testosterone levels.

However, the bad news is that studies have shown Tribulus to be ineffective in supplements. Not only that, it’s been reported to increase prostate weight (which can lead to serious male health issues).

For this reason, we avoid Tribulus Terrestris, as it’s essentially a useless ingredient that can cause side effects.

Boron Citrate

Boron has the ability to raise your free testosterone levels (meaning it increases the amount of testosterone that your body can use). It’s a natural ingredient that’s proven to work in numerous studies.

However, Test 3X SX-7 Black Onyx contains ‘Boron Citrate’ which only contains 5% Boron (meaning this testosterone booster contains a Boron dosage of 10mg – which isn’t a bad amount).

MuscleTech could’ve saved space in their Test 3X SX-7 Black Onyx supplement by simply adding pure Boron (instead of ‘Boron Citrate’). This would have allowed them add add 10mg Boron, freeing up 190mg space for other useful ingredients to be added – we would’ve loved to see Vitamin D3 here, as it’s our favorite testosterone boosting ingredient.

Ashwagandha

This is a herb that’s been used for decades in ayruveda (traditional Indian) medicine, believed to boost sexual function. Basically, no study has proven Ashwagandha to improve sexual function; but it’s shown to improve your strength.

However, the important thing is that Ashwagandha hasn’t shown to improve your testosterone levels; meaning it’s not ideal in a testosterone booster.

Safed Musli Root Extract

Also known as Chlorophytum Borivilianum, that’s another herb from ayurveda (traditional Indian) medicine believed to promote sexual function. However, unlike Ashwagandha, it’s not proven to benefit you in any study; meaning it’s unreliable.

For the price you’re paying for Test 3X SX-7 Black Onyx ($89.99 for 30 servings), there shouldn’t be any ineffective ingredients inside this product.

Yacon Root

This is basically a carbohydrate (like a potato) that can help boost energy levels. However, there’s been no evidence that Yacon Root boosts testosterone levels – making it a useless ingredient in Test 3X SX-7 Black Onyx.

Olive Leaf Extract

This is taken from the same plant that’s used to make olive oil, and is believed to improve your cholesterol levels. However, no studies have shown that it has any effect on your testosterone levels – meaning Olive Leaf Extract is another useless ingredient in Test 3X SX-7 Black Onyx.

Test 3X SX-7 Black Onyx Side Effects

Test 3X SX-7 Black Onyx only contains 1 ingredient that can cause side effects – Tribulus Terrestris. However, for a testosterone booster that costs $89.99, we were expecting there to be no risk of any side effects here.

Simply put, studies have shown that Tribulus Terrestris can increase your prostate weight (which can lead to serious male health issues); this is something that should be avoided at all costs.

Here’s the potential side effects from taking Test 3X SX-7 Black Onyx:

  • Increased prostate weight (Tribulus Terrestris)

Test 3X SX-7 Black Onyx Review Conclusion

Ultimately, we’re disappointed by Test 3X SX-7 Black Onyx by MuscleTech; we can’t see a reason why they’ve put a HUGE $89.99 price tag on this testosterone booster. Simply put, our favorite T-Booster supplement costs less than this product, and contains better ingredients ingredients in optimal dosages.

The main reason why we believe this supplement isn’t worth it, is because of the $89.99 price tag; no supplement should ever costs this much for 30 serving containers. For this reason, we can’t recommend that you try Test 3X SX-7 Black Onyx.
