About the Product: ShredABull UNTAMED 2.0

Shredabull Untamed 2.0 is the latest fat burner supplement released in 2020 by Anabolic Designs.

It seems pretty obvious, but let us explain to the newcomers to the fat burner market.

This is the second version of Anabolic Designs’ original fat burner called Shredabull Untamed (which is no longer being produced) – this became pretty popular but the company clearly thought that there was room for improvement.

Anyway, ShredaBull Untamed 2.0 is being sold at a price of $48.99 per bottle (50 servings). So it’s not the most expensive fat burner we’ve seen, while not being the cheapest either.

However, since it’s important that you get the best deal for your money, we’ll be taking you through a full analysis of the ingredients in ShredaBull Untamed 2.0 in this review.

Who are Anabolic Designs?

Anabolic Designs have built a good reputation in the supplements industry. They’re known for producing ‘strong’ supplements and their shiny labels and black bottles stand out from the crowd.

They’re mainly aimed at the bodybuilding market. Which becomes apparent after seeing their ambassadors – who are all male or female bodybuilders.

Ultimately, we like Anabolic Designs and what they do (we’ll still be giving you our unbias, honest opinion, though).

ShredaBull Untamed 2.0’s Ingredients Explained

First Opinion

We don’t mind ShredaBull Untamed 2.0’s shiny bottle at all. In fact, we think it looks pretty cool.

You can see by Anabolic Designs’ logo that they try to be a modern supplement brand. And we think it works for them.

However, we simply can’t ignore the fact that all ingredients in ShredaBull Untamed are part of 3 different proprietary blends…

So what is bad about proprietary blends?

Let us begin by explaining why companies use these blends; they claim to want privacy over their dosages, so that competitors can’t ‘copy’ their formulas.

However, the issue is that you (the customer) are not shown the exact dosages of the ingredients either.

Why is not knowing the exact dosages of ingredients an issue?

Well, stimulants such as Caffeine Anhydrous can cause jittery side effects when consumed in large dosages.

This is something coffee lovers will know when they’ve had ‘one cup too many’ in a short space of time.

Not only that, ingredients are generally either useful or useless depending on their dosages. As a result of ingredients having an ‘optimal dosage’ found in clinical studies – so under-dosing ingredients essentially makes a product ‘not very good’.

Now, before we give you any further honest opinions, we’ll take you through each ingredient in ShredaBull Untamed 2.0.

By the end of this review, you’ll have a good idea of whether ShredaBull Untamed 2.0 will help you get shredded, or if there are better options on the market.

Here’s Everything You Need to Know About ShredaBull Untamed 2.0’s Ingredients:

Neurostim Blend (545mg)

This is the 1st proprietary blend in ShredaBull Untamed 2.0. It consists of these ingredients:

  • Caffeine Anhydrous
  • N-dimethylphenethylamine
  • PEA (Phenethylamine)
  • N-Acetyl L-Tyrosine

Half of this Neurostim Blend is good, with the other half being mostly unproven (in our honest opinion.

The 2 ingredients are like are Caffeine Anhydrous and L-Tyrosine.

Caffeine Anhydrous is undoubtably the best and safest stimulant out there. Due to it being a powdered form of caffeine (which is found in the most popular hot drinks, tea and coffee, which are consumed around the world on a daily basis.

L-Tyrosine is known as a nootropic ingredient.

This is becayse L-Tyrosine is able to improve cognition (mental performance). But it’s not essential in a fat burner supplement – we believe L-Tyrosine is more useful in either a nootropic supplement or pre-workout supplement.

However, we’re not personally convinced by the additions of PEA (Phenethylamine) since this is mainly used as an anti-depressant instead of fat loss. While N-dimethylphenethylamine (otherwise known as Eria Jarensis) is on the WADA banned substance list – so competitive athletes should probably avoid this ingredient.

Also, consuming stimulants such as Caffeine Anhydrous in unknown dosages can be risky. Since too much can cause jittery side effects.

As a result, we much prefer to know the exact amount of Caffeine we’re putting into our body at all times. To stay safe and avoid side effects.

Incinerate Thermo Complex (135mg)

The second proprietary blend in ShredaBull Untamed 2.0 contains:

  • Gamma Butyrolactone Ethyl Ester
  • Higenamine HCL
  • White Willow Bark Extract
  • Cayenne Pepper Extract
  • Yohimbine HCL

These ingredients are also all in unknown dosages. As you’re only shown the overall dosage of all of them, which is 135mg.

The only ingredient that we like in this blend is Cayenne Pepper Extract. Which is because it’s proven to be a safe and effective thermogenic – perfect for a fat burner supplement.

However, there are another 2 stimulants in this blend (Higenamine and Yohimbine). And Yohimbine has gained quite a bad reputation for causing side effects.

Let us explain; Yohimbine has actually shown to promote fat loss, but at the cost of side effects.

Personally, we prefer ingredients like Cayenne Pepper Extract which works without risking side effects. We would have been much happier should Yohimbine have been left out of Shredabull Untamed 2.0’s formula.

Thyrocharge Complex (40mg)

This is the last proprietary blend in ShredABull Untamed 2.0. It consists of:

  • Bovine Thyroid
  • Guggul Lipid PE Extract

Neither of these 2 ingredients sound very appetizing in our honest opinion.

And there is a clinical study that recommends people to avoid consuming such ingredients as Bovine Thyroid: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/8126411

Again, while at least one of these 2 ingredients might promote fat loss. It appears that Bovine Thyroid could come at the risk of causing side effects.

For this reason, we personally would avoid consuming Bovine Thyroid.

Black Pepper Extract

Black Pepper Extract is the only ingredient in ShredaBull Untamed 2.0 that’s not been included in a proprietary blend.

It contains high amounts of Piperine, which is known for being able to improve the bioavailability of ingredients that it’s consumed with.

Ultimately, we believe Black Pepper Extract is a beneficial ingredient in any supplement. It’s also safe and not known to cause any side effects so that’s a bonus

Potential Side Effects of ShredaBull Untamed 2.0

If you read the section above in this review, you’ll know there there are ingredients that are associated with side effects.

The main ingredients that concern us are; Yohimbine and Bovine Thyroid.

Yohimbine has been linked with a number of adverse effects in clinical studies: https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1002/dta.1849

And in our honest opinion, it’s never good to consume unknown dosages of Caffeine (you’re not shown the exact dosage of Caffeine Anhydrous in ShredaBull Untamed 2.0).

We personally try to avoid fat burners that don’t show you the exact dosages of stimulants. To stay safe from jittery side effects.

Here are the potential side effects with ShredaBull Untamed 2.0:

  • Jitters (Unknown dosages of Caffeine Anhydrous and Yohimbine)
  • Energy Crashes (Unknown dosages of Caffeine Anhydrous and Yohimbine)
  • Hyperthyroidism (Unknown dosage of Bovine Thyroid as per study: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/8126411)

ShredaBull Untamed 2.0 Review Conclusion

We don’t want to sound overly negative in this review.

There are some positives about ShredaBull Untamed 2.0. Such as the fact that it contains some tried-and-tested ingredients that are perfect additions to a fat burner; such as Cayenne Pepper Extract and Caffeine Anhydrous.

However, the issue remains: all ingredients are hidden in unknown quantities inside proprietary blends.

We really do believe that most of our  personal concerns about ShredaBull Untamed 2.0 would be resolved if the exact dosages of each ingredient were to be revealed to customers.

There might be a safe and effective dosage of Caffeine Anhydrous. But we’re only left to guess, and by the time you’ve popped a pill it could be too late; remember, consuming large dosages of Caffeine Anhydrous can lead to jittery side effects.

Not only that, there are some ingredients that we would personally consider as ‘risky’. These include Yohimbine (which we prefer to avoid altogether) and Bovine Thyroid in particular – we linked to studies showing why we think they are a bit risky above in this review.

As a result, we don’t personally believe that Shredabull Untamed 2.0 is worth it’s asking price of $48.99. At this price, you could get a fat burner supplement that shows you the exact dosages of ingredients inside, so you can see whether it’s safe and effective before popping the first pill.

  1. This product does burn fat but the jitters and nausea can be unbearable. It will have you thinking you never want to take a other pill. To control the jitters and nausea make sure to eat something and I found that emergenC works well.
