About The Product

NO2 Full Cycle is a pre-workout supplement by MRI Performance.

It comes in 50 serving containers, with a serving size of 3 capsules per day.

Who are MRI Performance?

MRI Performance are a supplements company, founded in 1997. They have a focus on pre-workout supplements – so we’re expecting big things from NO2 Black Full Cycle.

Read on to find out how effective this pre-workout is.

Ingredients Explained

This is the most important section when analyzing a pre-workout.

If the ingredients aren’t effective, or are in ineffective ingredients, then the whole product won’t work.

We’ve analyzed the most important ingredients inside NO2 Black Full Cycle below.

Here’s Everything You Need To Know:

Vitamin D3

This is our favorite ingredient inside a testosterone booster. But NO2 Black Full Cycle is more of a pre-workout supplement.

Simply put, a pre-workout supplement should benefit your workout 20-30 minutes after you take it. Vitamin D3 takes a few weeks of consistant dosages to take effect.

It’s great for raising your testosterone levels, but not for immediately improving your gym session.

Not only that, MRI Performance has under-dosed Vitamin D3 here. The optimal dosage is 3,332IU-5,000IU – this pre-workout only contains 800IU, so it won’t have much of an effect on you.

L-Arginine

L-Arginine plays an important role in promoting muscle pumps.

But here’s the problem – it doesn’t have much effect when orally supplemented, due to its poor absorption rate.

This is why Citrulline Malate is better – read below to find out why.

Citrulline Malate

This is our favorite ingredient for boosting muscle pumps in the gym.

How does it work?

Basically, it turns into L-Arginine in your kidneys, which directly improves blood flow, and therefore muscle pumps.

Why is it better than L-Arginine?

Answer: Because it has a much better absorption rate, and turns into L-Arginine in your kidneys.

Ultimately, it’s shown to benefit you in numerous studies – it works.

But it’s part of a proprietary blend, which is bad.

Why are proprietary blends bad?

Proprietary blends are bad because you never know the exact dosage of each ingredient inside. This means there could be a minimal amount of Citrulline Malate inside.

You need at least 6,000mg to experience its benefits – as this whole proprietary blend only adds up to 2147.5mg, it’s impossible for there to be an optimal amount in here.

Grape

Everyone knows about this fruit, and you can’t deny it’s tasty.

It’s shown to improve your blood flow, which should promote better muscle pumps.

But no studies have proven if it has any effect on muscle pumps – but we think that it might.

However, we also believe that Beetroot Extract is a better option – it’s a great source of nitrates, which directly converts into nitric oxide (which is essential to increase blood flow).

L-Carnitine

This is a key pre-workout ingredient. Why?

Because it can reduce fatigue and boost endurance – 2 great benefits to improve your gym session.

The Main Problems

There are some strange things about NO2 Black Full Cycle.

Pills, Not Powder

Basically, most pre-workouts come in powder form, but this comes in capsules. It takes away the issue of taste in a pre-workout, but why try and fix something that’s not broken?

Most of us prefer drinking a pre-workout, and there are some that don’t enjoy taking pills.

3 Servings Per Day

Usually, a pre-workout would be taken 20-30 minutes before your workout. But MRI Performance recommend you to consume this in the morning, and 2 more times throughout your day.

No Energy Boosts

The main reason why we’d take a pre-workout is to feel a ‘buzz’ and get ready to smash a gym session.

But there are no ingredients in NO2 Black Full Cycle to provide you with any energy boosts.

Side Effects

The best thing about NO2 Black Full Cycle is that it’s not likely to cause any side effects.

But it’s not likely to improve your workout either.

Review Conclusion

NO2 Black Full Cycle is a strange product – we’ve listed it under ‘pre-workouts’ because it’s clearly aimed to boost your nitric oxide levels, and promote better muscle pumps.

However, you’re supposed to take this supplement 3 times per day. Normally, you’d consume a pre-workout 20-30 minutes before your workout, so you feel immediate results to improve your gym session.

The main benefits we look for in a pre-workout are:

  • Energy Boosts
  • Improved Strength
  • Enhanced Focus
  • Increased Endurance
  • Intense Muscle Pumps

NO2 Black Full Cycle has only attempted to deliver one of these benefits (muscle pumps), and ignored the other key benefits that a pre-workout should deliver.
